I think they will make some announcements before time is up. I think there's a pretty high chance we get a Galvatron, though one that will fit in its hands. So, not a general release. He might even come with the ship he gives Galvatron. Did that have a name?

The tracking says "Picked up" on Monday the 4th. "Arrived Fed Ex location" on Tuesday at 636 am in City of Industry CA. It arrived before noon on Friday in MI.

That'll be a sight- my nearly $600 Unicron sitting in the closet because of Wei Jiang's bigger, better, cheaper KO. I wouldn't be at all surprised.

For the record, I only buy improved KO's. I believe I own exactly 1 straight KO- Ratbat and that was only because I wasn't willing to buy another Soundwave to get him.

Fortress Maximus has great quality. But with his weight Unicron will need very strong ratchet joints and weight-distribution.
Weight is rarely an indicator of quality.
Except it was with Prime Wars that Hasbro uppped their game because they were forced to by 3p companies.
During potp Hasbro dropped that effort and now Hasbro s well as 3p are down in quality from what they were before.

I do hope this gets ko'd with less of the needless bling and at the size of a regular titan.

Honestly I think this thing is beyond beautiful and I want it so badly it hurts. I don’t care that it’s super expensive, it’s worth it to me.

Alas, prohibiting international orders was a huge mistake.

Honestly while the price is hefty for a transformer... it’s not as obnoxious as it could be. This is coming from someone who has Hot Toys Endgame Thanos on preorder. And someone who has debated sniping the Lego UCS falcon for $800 multiple times. If anything, I’m amazed it’s taken this long for a single figure to cost this much.

But this is an obnoxiously short time period. And I’m confused on the goal here- they want to sell 8000 units and will sell as many as that are backed. But the point of most crowdfunds is to raise enough money to put something fully into production, and that mass production leads to a lower price. This is a ridiculous campaign in general. If they were putting this to mass market or had given more time, I would have considered- but thanks to Thanos I’m going to have to skip this one

This is absolutely reaching 8000 and then some. Final tally may even be around 10,000. I'm so confident I'd be willing to make some silly wager about with you, if you'd like.

It appears to be true. I went thru the checkout to the payment point, and PayPal (and therefore PP Credit) was not given as an option, only credit card.

There IS no mass market that would take the risk on a figure like this - which is why HasLab is perfect for this. Perhaps not perfect execution, but definitely the right avenue.

I just wonder how much the stand weighs. I could see it having a lot of diecast and being a part of the whole 19 lbs total.
Also imagine if haslab gave a high production incentive--if we sell over 12,000 units the price gets lowered to $450, over 16,000 units $350--maybe that would bring in more buyers?

Going by this quote from Haslab, the 19 punds weight doesn't include the stand :
I remember reading that the stand alone us about 10 pounds, but I don't remember the exact source now.
