They've got an X-Men Sentinal to sweat about right now. Though I wonder if the Terror Dome is being spit-balled...

Thanks again! Your reports really help in building the excitement for this figure and moving past the disappointment for the missing paint.
Though I have to say...after seeing the final measurements for planet mode, including the stand and the spike, it really looks like the spot where I was thinking to display him is too small unless I leave the ring off.

I mean, I hope no one proves you wrong when it comes to engineering at any point. Also just FYI Studio Cell's planet mode is flawed but it's not 'incredibly innacurate", I think that's a bit of a stretch.

Hey @Dachande , don't know if these in hand Unicron pics deserve the front page, but there's a lot and they're freaking awesome. This post is where it starts.

I appreciate the commiseration. It is indeed a large gut punch. Everything you said is absolutely true to someone who doesn't like the Maw being changed.

Yeah...it’s disappointing that the finished article has unpainted paint apps. The only comfort for me is that this is my “last” big TF purchase...

The only way I would support a Haslab project is when Hasbro release a 20-25 inch Marvel Legends Galactus...if not, I’m done too.

Parts that would all be upscaled, correspondingly thicker/sturdier with correspondingly stronger connection points and joints. An oversized version of Studio Cell would be more balanced anyway due to the, you know, complete lack of backpack and leg kibble?

Not to derive from this thread, but I always thought that gravity making everything heavier would pose a problem to things like an oversized studio cell. It would put more strain on joint etc.

Since there are screw holes to access the back of the maw I have renewed hope that Haslab will address this and provide us with a correctly colored piece and it can be fixed without fear of breaking it (even if it is extremely complicated). They have the mold, use it.

If not, and they don't care about losing a decent percentage of Haslab backers in the future by just ignoring the entire problem, then fine. A third party should be able to provide the piece then.
