I’m okay with the blue piece. From a color perspective the blue and orange are complimentary contrasting colors. And having time between now and the March/April timeframe, I have time to hollow out a space for the planet eating beach ball to fit into my office space and anticipate the inevitable third party upgrades to come for it. Plus, in the whole grand scheme of things, at least in my world, there are bigger things to worry about than the color of a piece of plastic.

 

With this most recent update I'm getting real excited to be getting Unicron soon, so I decided on a whim to try drawing his planet mode in as much detail as I comfortably could.

So here's my take on the Chaos Bringer! Parts of it are a bit messy to me but I think that's mostly thanks to the lack of color.

Thank you! I am kinda staring to feel the Earth may be too small though (it's practically the size of an M&M to him lol). But I also kinda like how much more threatening and incomprehensibly huge that makes him.

He wants return the cosmos back to where he was the only thing in it. Pretty much he's that angry old neighbor bitching about the noise.

Meanwhile, Primus creates his children who can't help but fight one another, and their war carries out into the cosmos hurting others, destabilizing everything. What is that if not chaos?

 

I don't see how they could not be making a profit. The whole point of the crowdfund was to make sure they get to the numbers to make a profit. They got at least 2,000 past that requirement and I think people checking the code for the counter on the backing page is where the 12,000 came from. So 4,000 past the 8,000 goal. They also decided to throw in extras, which wouldn't make sense to do if they were in the red. Sure they may have hoped for even more sales, but that doesn't mean they're not making a profit, they just wanted more of one.

 

I think people call him the lord of chaos since in Greek myths Chaos was the first being in the universe and so was Unicron in some myths

I like the yellow eyes. Reminds me of staring at my lunch box in grade school.

 

I think Unicron just exists to empty the universe in preparation for it to reset with a new big bang.

 

If thats the case they wont admit to it. Honestly I didnt even notice it. It kinda makes the teeth pop more and looks like some kinda tech design. But thats just my opinion. Obviously that part was casted in blue. We seen the pics of them doing "touch up" with brushes so I doubt it was a budget thing. I have no proof but I really believe paint on that part didnt hold up in QC control tests. I learned that sometimes painting moving parts isnt the best idea with Takara FOC Prime. When the rub or tab together for alt mode, they chip.
