I'd be curious about what others are planning too. I am getting an ikea Pax wardrobe to replace my current shelves. Its far deeper than your standard bookshelf and the shelves are movable, fingers crossed he is going to fit :)

Why would a lot of us know that when we do not enter the third party half of the website at all?

The thing a lot of third party fans don’t understand is that many of us only read the official side of the site and completely ignore the third party section. That’s why we get triggered when unofficial products get brought up in official threads. I would never go into a third party thread just to bash the figure so I can’t understand why anyone would do that in official threads.

I do occasionally venture into a third party thread if it’s a figure or character that looks interesting. But if I don’t like what I see I just leave the thread and don’t bother reading it anymore. Because what’s the point of telling people that do like the figure that their opinion is wrong? It’s their opinion and they should be able to have fun discussing that figure with like-minded people without having people that hate the figure shitting all over their parade. That’s exactly what happens every time an official MP thread hits the front page and it gets really tiresome.

The only thing I like on him so far is his chest and abs. I don't care for his face. But I can see how his face fits in with the Earthrise series

So I assume you're not a huge fan of screen accuracy then?

I would recommend "picture wire" as rated for mounting mirrors with metal frames. Additionally, installing the hook should be done into a wood stud/support.

Ultimately we discouraged using wire to mount mirrors since the hangers on the back often weren't rated to hold all of that weight from a single point. Luckily, that won't be an issue, here.

How much will a gap filler kit cost for him with all the hollow spots on the wings? If the average kits for siege and earthrise figures are $15 to $20 and contain around 10 pcs give or take a few, then would a kit for him be a couple hundred bucks. Lol

What does screen accurate have to do with my comment? I don't like his pixelated face or whatever you want to call that style. I don't care if it is screen accurate or not. Something can be screen accurate and still ugly and weird. They are not mutually exclusive.

I was wondering if we'd see some third party come out with an upgrade set. I think that would be pretty funny.

I have a large work table (it was a kitchen table given to me by a friend) in my games room. One part of it has some stuff for painting miniatures and terrain on it, one part has assorted junk, and another section is empty. So on that table it shall go!

I definitely agree. I have the Core Star, now Cell, and is indeed the better figure especially in engineering and robot mode. However, you may also want to consider people who loves the character.

And in my opinion, since I love this character so much, I also backed it. I think, even if irrational as it may be, that despite we dropped half a thousand bucks on this quite terrible figure with kibbles galore, we could care less for these, as we are very loyal to this character.

Also, the choices of modern Unicron figures aren’t that many. Therefore each has its use. The Haslab is for Planet mode and size. While the Cell is for Robot mode and playability/poseability.

I don't understand why there are so many "Hasbro gaps" on such a pricey, premiere figure.

Weight distribution. I mean, the only gaps are on the shell undersides where you'd expect them to be, and the wings because doubling the mass on those to make them not hollow is totally a structurally sound idea.
