Yes, I was referring to hasbro. And, sorry I guess I should have said:

"it would be NICE if HASBRO would put up a waiting list in case there was an option for people to cancel so that others who missed out due to financial hardships or other major life events may have the opportunity to purchase."

It's still a moot point because there is no option to cancel from hasbro, it's bought and paid for and they aren't issuing any refunds

Any guesses on what the markup will be to get one of these on eBay within the first few months after release? I'm hoping things stay reasonable.

Yes, but clearly not everyone was aware of the policy.

I would guess no one will list for under $800, shipping not included.

That's probably a fair guess considering it's a little more than non affiliated sellers were charging isn't it? I'd probably say $800-$900 depending on the seller

Yeah I'm thinking along the same lines...just wanted to get a reality check before I start putting money aside. I wouldn't be willing to pay much more than what the unaffiliated vendors were charging. Hopefully one of them has some remaining stock after preorders are filled.

Worst comes to worst, OhMyPrimus seems to still have preorders open for only $80 more than pulse. Granted you'd have to pay shipping as well

Hasbro Pulse had it for $574.99 USD plus applicable taxes, but none of the unaffiliated retailers are going to sell it without a fairly big markup and extra shipping.

Ok that's what I thought. I'll wait it out then and see what happens, hopefully can snag one from a fair board member instead. Thank you.

Hopefully everyone who actually bought one via Hasbro Pulse was aware, considering the site gave you a big "Warning: this item cannot be cancelled. Do you wish to proceed?" sort of screen before confirming your order. And most third party sellers would have had the same, except for their $200 non-refundable deposit instead.

someone remind me on the release date of this again? lol

on a side note, being canadian I am glad I bought this last year, because the dollar absolutely tanked because of the pandemic. So really, I've saved money on this purchase!

That would be... around... $57.50 tax at the average 10%.

    Good lord!

It's easy to figure out that rate, but I wouldn't say 10% is the average rate. Only a handful of states are near or above 10%. Most are a bit below.
