I got my code but didn't even log in to look at it. I know I'm turning rapidly into a old man but a digital comic (as some others said) has no value to me. I want to be able to hold it and keep it.

Then again, I have a room we turned into a library because my wife and I read so much. Most people do the Kindle or stuff online. To me, nothing like holding (and smelling!) an old book. It's just better....but I digress.

Already have the hard copy from the early 2000's. Not going to bother downloading the digital version of it.

I think the bonus comic was only ever guaranteed if ordered through hasbro pulse. I know when I asked, chosen prime said they couldn’t guarantee they’d get the codes

BBTS assured me in an email (while the funding was still active) they would include them, so something fishy is going on there.

Edit: ToyDojo replied to my question about the comic and they have said they were “not aware of a digital comic” and are asking their distributor about it.

I can only compare it to Amazon's other services like Prime Video and Music Unlimited. And while neither are perfect, they certainly offer a larger "free" library than comixology. Best I can tell, there are maybe 106 "free" comics available through the service. And while there is a borrow option, I certainly didn't see it for many of the titles I looked at.

It seems like a digital money pit. But that may be just my preference for physical objects.

I've emailed Kapow, who were the official UK affiliates for the crowdfunding campaign:

    "Hi David,
I believe this comic is for the US customers only. We have enquired about them but as it stands this is not for the UK as yet."

    Bit shit that...

Weird. I backed this directly on Haslab but I didn't get an email about the comic.

The only thing worse than a comic in PDF format is a comic that requires going to a site to access. How about this for a deal? I'll gladly give my code to the first member of this board who promises to send me a PDF copy of it once they have access. At least a PDF is something I can store locally without needing a site that may not be around next week.

Yup, sure enough it was marked as spam for some reason. Thanks for the suggestion.

Very nice details on that figure, good painting and i like the use of sharp teeth to make Unicron more frightening and threatening.
