People don't seem to understand what this is. It's not an "order" or anything else. It's nothing more than a stern letter from a lawyer stating "stop this or else!" It may even be more friendly, not a threat at all, "please stop, pretty please with sugar on top?" See also: Cease and desist - Wikipedia And anyway, a C&D here has thus far been unsubstantiated hearsay, a nothingburger. The true if/when is completely unknown at this time. As is the case with HasLab Unicron, some want it to succeed, some want it to fail, some don't care either way. I see your head-in-sand image, and raise you a head-up-butt image. For 30 lbs, hard wood, not a long shelf, plenty of sturdy supports. I have a strong feeling we'll see lots of "my Unicron fell and broke" images on FB and TFW and elsewhere. And it'll be sad. Essentially think CRT TV stand or dresser. If you use thin wood or pressboard, it'll bow. If you use glass, it'll eventually crack and buckle. Heavy MDF would work, but again secure with proper supports, not some weenie little metal brackets. I may not be getting a Unicron, but I know furniture. You're essentially displaying a heavy bar bell, so plan accordingly. It's not just another bot for the shelf.
