Like everyone else, I received my congratulatory email and Hasbro charged my card shortly thereafter. Now, we wait...

I wonder how many people purchased extras to sell. I actually entertained the idea as an investment, but then remembered that a friend who owns a shop has the Barge and is selling it for a really reasonable price, but it doesn't move.

Basically the same situation for me. Fresh out of High-school. Not really too concerned about collage yet and my Paycheck at Pizza Hut is really not too bad. Saving for Unicron.....really was not that hard. :)

    Ebay:
Since they blew past the 8000 and have significantly more patrons, I hope they may be able to work in a few bonus surprises. Ideas below:

    - molded interiors for iconic brain/TV room, acid vat, pincer security (ie. areas revealed in transformation)
    - corkscrew spaceship
    - eye accessories (as if removed)
    - poster (as shown on kickstarter page)
    - actual comic (with cover shown for digital bonus)

Anyone else have any doable ideas that wouldn't blow the budget? I'd see these as very doable, since they will have to create molded design for the back of panels... or very tiny or cheap (a piece of paper, etc.)

...health insurance is cripplingly expensive; actually FIRE in general eats the preponderance of most americans' household income...

(finance, insurance, real estate: middle-men industries)

I wish there was a light up gimmick. Would love to see a planet Unicron light up like he just ate a planet.

Frankly for being a backer...I'm not really all that enthused with the extra things. I would be happier with some Green fire effects parts for the eyes and mouth. Also really wanted to see a quintessons ship. mostly a planet for him to eat. the "Flea class" Hotrod and Galvatron...dont really excite me.

After it hit minimum funding, it was for sale for everyone that wanted to buy one. But they're not going to want to carry a bunch of stock for such an expensive and large item, and it's not like they own the factory and can just crank up the line to spit one (or even one hundred) whenever they feel like it either - there had to be a cut-off.

You should be proud of your achievement.

And your current attitude towards work will take you far if you stick to it. Continue to apply yourself and never be afraid of putting effort into your job.

I make $9 an hour at the moment, and they pay me biweekly. After 3 months it will be $9.50. If I recommend a friend to work there, and they work for at least 3 months, they will raise it to $10.50.

I agree with you fully, but I do want to point out that TFTM86 is available on Youtube, although you have to buy/rent it. You are correct that it's not included in any monthly streaming services (to my knowledge) like Hulu.

Also agree that TFTM's relevance in the cultural discussion has been reduced to "they shouldn't have killed Prime" and I think that's unfair. For one thing I believe killing Prime is one of the reasons the film is so well-remembered today and on a personal note, dealing with Prime's death at six years old was immeasurably helpful when my own father passed a few years later. But beyond that, the fact that a very expensive reference to that movie can get crowdfunded to the tune of 8000+ backers over three decades after the film's release despite the fact that the movie itself was not a financial success suggests it deserves a higher place in the cultural zeitgeist.

Well, like I said, it’s biweekly. I’ve been working 31-38 hours a week.
