We just finished our design for a upgrade kit that allows the Haslab Unicron to be split into two pieces, the Robot and Planet mode separated. It was a big project and we are super happy with the results. We forgot to take pictures of putting the insert inside the planet mode, but took some pictures of what the insert looks like as we just didn't want to take it apart again lol. But having two for one is awesome :D

Well that kind of makes him a decent purchase, but the hurt of spending more money on a $600 figure stings a bit but at least you have 2 display pieces now

I agree, this makes the $600 purchase sit a whole lot better now getting two figures to display

Fantastic work. You must have a massive printer to make parts that big. Are going to be selling this upgrade kit or the models?

The models are broken down into different parts. Look at the wings, they are in sections. Giant printer not needed.

Can we see a pic of the actual filler part?

Thank you and yes we were able to break it up into sections, both the wings and the planet filler. We are perfecting a better version of the filler now and will take pictures of it, and no this is just way too big to mass produce and sell but I was going to just share the design so anyone with a printer can print it out themselves

I would just like to express how awesome you are for putting this out for free. You could easily make money on these models. This is great work.

If you don't mind me asking, what brand, color name, and type of plastic is that printed in?

Now if I could just find a print for an extra head to throw on that display stand with the other face plate, I'll have the trifecta of all of the play patterns for this figure

Sorry forgot, but the prototype was printed on Flashforge creator pro PLA filament pink and we spray painted it, then the finished version was printed using Flashforge creator pro PLA transparent orange

I completely agree! We were tinkering around with the idea of printing out a second head using the extra mask faceplate pieces to also get that. But took a break after this as this was a huge project lol
