    Wow!! Deathsaurus really let himself go.

    I'm not sure how I will have him displayed. I don't even have a spot for Victory Saber yet. He's just hanging out on my dresser at the moment.

    So the chrome on Deathsauras is planned to be vac-metal chrome and not heat stamped like on VS. This means it should be much more durable and won’t chip unless you take sand paper to it and go to town.

    On VS the parts that have chrome aren’t completely chrome. It is a small area on the plastic that needed chrome so I don’t think the vac-metal process was possible unless they made those shiny symbols on Star Saber’s and Victory Leo’s chest separate pieces that snapped into place. If they were separate pieces I could see that leading to breaking pieces since those areas are small and separate in half on both figures. With Tiger Chest it’s “wings” are big separate pieces that can be vac metal chrome which involves spraying the whole pieces with an aluminum vapor at once.

    You can only vac-metal whole parts.

    Stamped foil is how they always do topical applications like on Star Saber. Production bottlenecks probably resulted in not enough care being taken with that step as should have been.
