Okay the news page keeps talking about backer emails.

I've backed Unicron, Star Saber, and Deathsaurus, and not once have I received an email from Haslab for anything except "your order is on its way".
No address confirmations, no backer updates, no nothing.

I'm hoping/wondering if that's exactly the reason they did it this way. Otherwise it's kind of a dick move to reveal completely new figures after it's no longer available.

Because this wasn’t technically a tier and included with the haslab, I would speculate that they may be released as is or recolored at retail/selects without compromising the “integrity” of the haslab.

most important team too, since they were the ones featured the most in any animation. I would like to have all the zone cartoon appearing ones too but if I had to pick ONE team to complete this would have been it, so glad I got two sets of these guys

 

Indeed, this does challenge the conventional wisdom of "they can't/won't create all-new molds to add as bonuses to a HasLab due to the costs of production."

I certainly wouldn't oppose folks being able to purchase this pair in some way. I don't think it would fall under the "if folks could buy the HasLab mold at retail, it would kill HasLab" reasoning (which I think is otherwise sound logic). I'm not sure just how Hasbro would do it, though, as Micromasters are pretty much dead at retail, and it's hard to imagine fitting these into the now-existing price-points. Perhaps as an add-on to an as-yet unrevealed Pulse (or otherwise online) exclusive? I don't see them working alone for this purpose, but as an add-on, just maybe....

Anyone ordered from tf source to the UK? That price is actually not far off the haslab UK price bizarrely. Anyone know what the average postage comes in at from them to UK? A second seems like a no-brainer

 

Holi is a cast member from episode 1 and a pal/babysitter for Jan (orphaned as a baby; the only survivor of a Destron attack on a space mission and is raised by the Autobots who haven't been to Earth in some time). Later in the series we learn Holi is from planet Micro, the planet of Micromasters. Also, he is the commander of a rescue squad (the other 3 Micromasters here, Fire, Pipo, and Boater), who are trained in rescue operations and during Destron assaults, focus on rescuing those in need while the big Autobots fight. They join up later in the series and are regulars after that.

I will admit, I never saw Pipo and Boater as coming, cool on Hasbro to listen.

i wouldnt consider this a tier but its a really neat bonus to the victory line. Thanks to everyone who support these victory haslabs! We shall have our liokaiser someday!

 

I'm not even getting this HasLab but this is hands down my favorite piece of TF news this month. What an awesome surprise.

 

I generally despise the ludicrous concept of Micromasters and thus don't own any others in my collection, so these guys, while nice, will probably get sold off for me.
I could probably sort of justify Boater/Seawatch as some sort of small drone thing, but without the rest of his team, what's really the point?
