Approximately 20-25 years ago I sold my G1 collection amassed during childhood and supplemented through flea market finds. More than 3 years ago I was in awe of Haslabs Unicron, and although not having purchased a figure in 20ish years, it is the type of reckless purchase that is right up my alley. Ultimately, I avoided temptation. Looking back, the thing I couldn't rationalize had nothing to do with money, or waiting a year. I believed subsidizing or "kickstarting" a project for a multibillion dollar corporation was a bridge too far. I played Magic the Gathering off and on for years, and Hasbro had enough of my money.

A month ago I purchased several discounted figures on a whim and it opened the floodgates. I've probably spent close to 2k, don't really want to look. That's a long way of saying that I've reevaluated my positions and if this is the only way to get a Deathsaurus figure, then so be it. I'm in with all the other degenerates (I mean that as a positive). You got me.

 

22 774… almost makes you wish there was a third tier lol. This guys great and I’m happy that there’s about 22k that agree with me. I wonder if he’ll get around 4-5k in the next half day to match VS.

Seriously though, no surprise this got all the tiers. At first I wasn't wowed by the throne but over the weeks seeing it in color and all the storage it has really makes it look awesome. Such a cool addition.

It won’t be the remainder of the day but what happens afterwards. If you recall VS had several thousand additional orders added after the final bell. I can go look up the exact number but it was at least 3k as Hasbro brought in the international affiliates.

Oh yeah, I was a first day backer because even the base figure was great, I was just saying the throne grew on me a lot.

I guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

 

VS was run differently in that almost *all* the international backers came at the end.
