Hes glorious but sadly the timing has ruled me out of this one, cant drop that kind of cash so close to Christmas, plus with UK fuel prices going up its a toss up between this or heating my house lol

Dunno if anyone else has but I made a digi-bash on him based on the stock base color palate he had in the anime

Some one has got the pricing wrong for the UK.

How is £189.99 the equivalent to $179.99.

For those of you in the US, is $179.99 the total price for you or are there additional taxes that you will get hit with to pay on top?

Based on current conversion rates $179.99 should be £156-165. £189.99 is circa $215.

Oh - I backed this Haslab just like I did for Victory Saber.

I do appreciate the asterisk there on the end.
Like they know we know that's bullshit.

Add 20% for VAT. US prices are before tax; UK prices include tax.

    TFW/Fandom with every release:
Why is it Haslab? It should be Commander.
Why is it Commander? It should be Leader.
Why are Leaders so bad? I'd pay more for a better figure with less corners cut and more of a premium approach, it's more like a Voyager!
Why are Voyagers not as good as they were 15 years ago!

Also, 4K backers! Let's say GO!

Given that Tigerchest has a 6-inch or so wingspan in bow mode and the size of the Deathsaurus, that's incredibly unlikely.

    Thank you for your replies.

What’s the max rate of tax that some states may apply to such a purchase in the US? Do some not charge?

Im just curious to know if many US backers will get the figure closer to $179.99 than say for $215. Or would it be fair to say on average the total cost will be about $200.

Where are the in hand photos from? The main article has no link to the livestream...

Looks amazing otherwise. Glad Hasbro realized they can take the wind out of the sails of the third party rip-offs with making these themselves. This has the proper Generations style unlike the hyper-stylized IDW Deathsaurus some third party company made. 27 cms tall, he is as big as a gestalt, unlike the original toy who is actually even smaller than Star Saber alone (I recently managed to get him from Yahooauctions Japan.
The metal eating cannon is rather clunky, but I definitely want his mace and that throne is pretty sweet. He already has about 4000 backers so I see this reaching the stretch goals easily.

Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon have no sales tax.

Tennessee is the state with the highest state and local sales tax at 9.55%.

It was a premium member only fan stream but should be on youtube in a few days like last year, thats where the in hand stuff is from. Seems odd to have done it that way tbh as most the target audience wouldnt have seen it.

Could've been the next commander class in the legacy line but this way Hasbro gets an extra £100 out of you. With Starsaber it seems you get more for the price point. As with all Haslabs though if you want it you gotta pay for it.

    This guys was £125

This, the VAT alone accounts for £38 of that price, the cost of shipping them to the UK and then to us is also wrapped up in there.

Anyway, I'm in. Not as hard as I was with Victory Saber as it's a bad time for me at the mo with Diaclone Great Robot base (and extras!) coming in the near future and a holiday to pay for next month but I'm in! :D

I don’t think so as they made a point of saying they felt it would be better to show off all the tiers right away. Also what else could they possibly do as just those two tiers are absolutely packed. I would have thought the throne would be its own tier at least since with Victory Saber the stand was by itself, not to mention that throne is massive. It looks to be bigger than the Leader Dinobots! Then the first tier has the living metal cannon, flail with an actual chain, and blast effects. The living metal cannon has more moving parts, can transform, and is even bigger when compared to the V-Lock cannon for Victory Saber. They just stuck with having two massive tier unlocks but didn’t make the unlock levels ridiculous. This thing is freaking awesome.

I was sure that Deathsauras would be the 2024 commander but am so glad to be wrong. In my mind it would have been just Star Saber height and definitely not include the articulation this thing looks to have, not to mention the insane accessories. I woke up this morning and had to check my phone to see if I dreamed this. The Emperor of Destruction couldn’t have gotten a better update than this.
