Nah fam, enjoy guys. My currency strength makes this already expensive figure, stupidly pricey (almost 4000 bucks).

This. If they keep doing this and keep it in this price range, I'll keep funding.

Same! *pats vein like a junkie" Right. In. Here.

Mainline figures have been getting poseable hands for years now. We've had at least 8 mainline toys with standard articulated hands in the last 4 years, not including Titans.

This is more than that though. It has the slits in the hands so the weapons can peg in which we have only seen the MP line have.

Takara did Big Powered a few years ago as part of Legends. They're major retools of Titans Return figures. Knowing hasbro, I think much more likely then a Haslab Big Powered (which would be awesome) is that they'll restart production of Legends Big Powered (and maybe Greatshot and Grand Convoy?) and offer them on Pulse as exclusives. Kind of like with those Street Fighter x Transformers figures that long predated Crossover.

The 2023 Haslab would ship in fall 2024, the 40th anniversary of Transformers. So I'd be willing to be it will be something 1984 related, rather than Japanese G1. I disagreew with others thinking it'll be Liokaiser though. 5 fully new figures with all new engineering? I wish but no shot. I think Liokaiser is more likely to see either a straight up reissue of the CW version, or an improved version via Takara when Deathsaurus lands next year. Same with Multiforce. I think exclusives that are non-combining retools of existing WFC/Legacy molds is much more likely than a 3 robot Haslab Combiner.

    Here's my Haslab short list:

    - $450 Autobot Headquarters (distinct from the Ark we got)
    - $350 "Ultimate" G1 Metroplex.
    - $575 Cybertron / Primus (mishmash of G1 and Unicron Trilogy primus)
    - $200-$250 Micromaster "Countdown base".

I think with Deathsaurus we've reached the end of the road of $180 Transformers in this fashion. The list wasn't big to begin with.

Its not exactly revolutionary. Any of the figures with opening hands in the past few years could have had the same system if they wanted. its just a basic slot for weapons to plug in.

I'm just glad this is cheaper than the haslab Marvel ones...Granted I only backed Sentinel. Kind sad that I didn't back another Starsaber, not making that mistake with Deathsaurus!

    Here's my digibash attempt

Edit: added Decepticon symbols to his chest and the obvious shaped spot on his wing
Megatron is gonna feel like a kid sitting in this massive throne. Better bet would be buying SS86 Starscream and attempting to sell the figure and keep the throne

Benefits of not having to lock themselves into a specific budget based on retail price points. Just like MP figures.

I have the planet X version and I am happy with that. But that throne, tempted just for that alone.
    Pass.

im glad people are financially responsible, with a month 45.8 days left, im curious how many backers this will have! i understand many people's frustration that the figure wasn't mainline or commander or value isn't there, i'm just happy he's getting a new toy. waiting on iron factory liokaiser, hope liokaiser gets the haslab treatment eventually

I think it is fairly priced, this could have been a Commander, but probably would have had zero weapons.

I don’t know if it’s been confirmed whether Gilthor can actually transform or not due to his origins. If not, there’s the Flame Toys model kit of him coming

Part of the rationale behind the hand articulation is to separate the index and middle fingers for the bow drawing pose.

Because the fingers are separated into those two-finger chunks, I guess they didn't want to do the Jetfire/Starsaber-style grip cup. And then with articulated fingers, you need that alternate way of securing the weapons into the hands, hence the MP-style weapon tabs.

Also, he sits on the throne for like half of the show.. Having a seat for him is a perfectly reasonable goal.
