I think the dump of backers happened overnight for us Americans cause of timezones and stuff. So if we were to have a dump, it would've already happened no?

 

Happened mid day. I remember I was refreshing the page while sitting in on a work meeting and all of a sudden VS had skipped the 6000s entirely

 

So, would retailers be giving support to the project if it's more than halfway funded?

 

probably later on, a gray prototype isnt too convincing especially if you are stocking these to sell. alot of ppl are waiting on colored images and more polished images

 

What do you mean? Are you referring to retailers like BBTS not having preorders for Deathsauras currently? The reason they don't do that anymore is because it messes with the campaign if n countries with Pulse people order through other retailers instead as it makes it look like the project is funding slowly when it isn't. Foreign retailers are currently taking orders, they just don't get added live and they typically wait longer to place their orders in with Hasbro. One big bulk order is easier to mange than a bunch of small orders. Less paper work and fewer chances for mix ups.

 

So we hit the big 6 triple O, huh? 6 006’s where it stands now. It’s coming along beautifully. I wonder if maybe next week they’ll add some intl orders on it. Give it a boost. I can see us hitting 11k quicker than VS. Good stuffs.

 

I wonder if they'd add internatl. orders relatively soon to the colored promos, make it look like it's picking up steam and generate more talk about it spiking from the new info about the toy.

 

Woo! 6,000! Just 5k more to go and then the sky’s the limit! I hope we get to see the color prototype soon. I think they said next week they should have it over at Hasbro? Full color photos will definitely give him quite a bump.

I missed out on the Victory Saber Haslab, wasn't in the hobby at the time, but I've just preordered 2 of these, and while I'm willing to play the secondary market and sell one of them to get the funds to buy a Victory Saber on ebay, hopefully I'll be able to find someone nearby willing to do a straight swap.

 

It probably did, but they might've had to make final touches, set aside time to do a photo op, (possibly) make a set/backdrop, and do some Photoshop to make him look pretty. That's all I can see being things that take time, but I don't know enough to guess how long those would take

Also the time it takes to get everything approved by the higher ups

 

If they post some bad ass painted prototype pics I bet we will see an increase.

 

Why would they add partial international orders so early? Makes no sense.

 

Smart move, depending on how high Deathsaurus aftermarket prices are, I think you will be able to or get in the ballpark of being able to get Victory Saber. If someone doesn’t do a swap with you. He’s gonna be valuable both being a Haslab and if you got one your likely gonna want the other.

 

It's appeared in past HasLabs that retailers have made (maybe at Hasbro's request, maybe just their own accounting system) orders in batches, e.g. some shop opens up 200 preorders, then when those fill, they submit to Hasbro, then open up another 200 (or whatever quantity is appropriate).

 

I dunno why but they did so during VS's campaign, just spitballing potential ideas, doubt they'd actually do it.

 

They have 15 minutes to add some kind of boost before I record the number and Deathsaurus becomes officially far behind VS

 

I don't recall how many days into the VS campaign it was before color renders appeared. That could possibly account for some difference.
