A question for the Star Wars fans out there. Is there a model number or designation difference between the Saesee Tiin Jedi Starfighter and the Obi Wan/Anakin Jedi Starfighter?

Nevermind. I got off my lazy behind and did some research and discovered that the Obi Wan/Anakin Jedi Starfighter is actually the Eta-2 Actis Jedi Interceptor and that the Saesee Tiin Jedi Starfighter is the Delta-7 Aethersprite Jedi Starfighter. They just named the toys incorrectly.

 

Saesee's a big fat PASS for me, but the Clone Gunship TF on the other hand, I'm definitely buying.  

 

Wow. I haven't seen anything in this whole line that looks even remotely good to me. All the designs are lackluster and rough, really messy.

What's worse is that the starfighter is colored up to look like Wheelie!

Glad haven't bought a single one. It's my protesting of not doing a TF crossover line that's actually f'n happened already. (you know exactly what I mean)

The robot modes are marginally better then earlier entries in this series, which isn't saying much. These are still crap. I don't collect these so I'll pass without a second thought.

 

I'll prob get both...On paper SWTF look questionable, but in hand they are really neat IMO.

 

Probably for the same reason Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Vader have 2 sabers -- they're launchable missiles, and the ship has 2 launchers.

I could actually see myself getting that new Starfighter, were it a different character - would fix the problem of crappy colors and a worse head immediately - and if it is confirmed that the ring could be removed entirely. Even with the latter, I'd get it anyway if it was made into, say, another Mace Windu. I don't know who's actually flown one to make a "realistic" choice.

But no, the Gunship is bad. It also reminds me too much of Energon Megatron and similar planes/ships with long wings, where Hasbro doesn't even try to do something with the wings to get them out of the way. Hate that.

 

Maybe it's just the low resolution, but Sasee Tiin's facial expression reminds me of Megamaid after she landed on the Planet of the Apes.

 

actually - we can be sure that the ring comes off of the jet since the nosecone turns into her feet. if it wasnt removable the ring would still be hanging off her ankles.
