My question, too...My last 2 orders from HTS were less than ideal. I returned a PotP Predaking because not only was the shipping box mashed, he was shipped to me already opened, tape cut and plastic insert hanging out of the side of his box. I called to return him, I was told that they were having issues with their warehouse people in the shipping dept. Then, Seige Prime and Megatron came smashed, delivered in what looked like an already used box that was pulled out of the dumpster. When I called them to question it, the not so friendly rep informed me that they dont guarantee mint items...
I'm liking Pulse so far. I've ordered SS Jetfire, Selects Megatron, and MP-18+ so far from them. My pending charge for MP-18+ went away yesterday, Jetfire shipped out today and hopefully Megatron will as well. I ordered Jetfire on the day the site opened, and I feel like they took a while to ship him out, but I'll attribute that to the store opening and probably being flooded with orders. Free shipping and easy pre-orders are huge pluses for me so I foresee a lot of purchases from Pulse in the future. With all of these Toy Fair pre-orders going live and being readily available on a ton of websites, I think Hasbro may have finally realized how to properly pre-sell their figures. We might be entering a golden age of pre-ordering and buying online where it's easier than it's ever been.
Wow, that's pretty terrible. The 2 experiences I had with HTS were normal and boxes arrived looking pristine. I guess that's not always the case. So did you get a resolution on both all of those items or are they just shrugging their shoulders? Damage during shipping I can understand, but if the boxes are arriving to you pre-opened or tampered with, that should not be right. By this, are you referring to something that is like $9.97 walmart vs $9.99 msrp or do you mean something else?
Got Magnus today after shipping yesterday and G2 Megs tomorrow after shipping today. Love this 1 day shipping, benefits of living close to distribution. Looks like Pulse will be my go to for Hasbro Transformers products.
Yeah my SS leaders required it but not the separate WWII bee... I was pissed though. I wasn’t home. I saw the “indirect signature required” online. So I put delivery instructions online to leave on the porch AND put a signed note on my door to leave the package on the porch and they STILL didn’t do it....
Mine, on the other hand, had the same indirect signature required but was dropped off on the porch without anyone home like it had no such requirement. I mean, I'm glad in this case since I couldn't BE home, and my neighborhood is safe, but still... I really wish you could sign for these online.
Some you can. When I order from Amazon JP they send me a DHL tracking link and I have to go in and manually authorize for it to be dropped off without a signiture. Surely Fedex has such a way?
I'm searched thoroughly on the internet and their website for such a way. You only can if the sender allows it, which they never do.
Well that sucks. I don't remember that being the situation the last time I ordered from them. I was expecting a delivery tomorrow, but I guess that will be pushed off. They still give you the option to sign the release form/slip, right? Once you sign that and tape it/stick it to the door, they will deliver the package the next day. Or is if a situation where you have to go to the local office, wherever that may be?
I thought only Standard shipping was free?! Oh man, my package finally shipped and I have to wait until 2/26 like a peasant!
Also, if you sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager, you SHOULD be able to do things like either pre-sign for it or have it held at a FedEx Hold Location (pretty much any place that you can ship FedEx, from what I see). From what I'm seeing, you can't do it until close to delivery. I imagine this is to minimize it getting overlooked.
