wtf is this proportion
Think my head color is a bit off.. this OP will be next to this helmet I'm painting..
hah, i wanted to buy that helmet if it was less than $100, but at ~$250? i just couldn’t do it.
I'm quite happy with the purchase.. star wars helmets with a third of the detail cost twice as much..
You're really painting this? Like what are you changing? I'm still awaiting mine, it's on the high seas somewhere, hehe.
It's great out of the box don't get me wrong I was just going for a more of a Movie accurate Look.. dirt and grime.. ear and cheek rust.. details to the side of the mask are just grey where in movie mainly blackened.. over all blue us very dull but movie it's grungy but still has a shine... I have a lot of work yet lol.
I didn't realize how complex this was going to be! It's still way out of my price range, but having nearly every single detail move in tandem with a joint is seriously impressive. The elbow bend specifically, with all the gears and panels shifting, and the one piece extending out to keep his elbow solid even when bent a full 180 degrees

Personally I believe Yolopark is just terrible at marketing this thing. I really do appreciate them changing the head based on fan feedback, but the feedback might have been over-exaggerated due to their wonky posing and photos. I do agree it was too small before, but I believe we are seeing the same kind of thing here with the whole figure. It's almost like they're posing him as if he was a regular 6" figure. It's strange. We know he can do some crazy movement, but can he hold it?
This looks way better, even down to the torso and hips. I still don't understand how they make him look like some crazy funhouse mirror thing in each photo. Maybe they had the joints extended like the neck was in the earlier 2020 photos?
yea i agree, i’m having a hard time finding consistency w the proportions throughout their pictures. but the latest photos do a lot better job at showing his silhouette and i’m pretty happy with how he’s turning out. this is really a passion project for them and it shows in the sheer amount of detailing they put into him. all the internal gears, size, and articulation is something i’ve never seen before, especially at this scale. it scares the shit out of me paying for something this expensive, but i’ve been collecting for almost 20 years and this just blows my mind.
Credit to them for making the head bigger so it looks more proportionate but yeah, they might have overshot the mark by a little bit lol

can’t figure out how to link the video directly, but they just got a new video demonstrating his neck and ab/back articulation
For some reason I can't watch any of these videos only the ones on YT (very few I think there was 2 short clips after looking through a bunch of junk there). How come no one has posted these pics MIRRORED as just pics? I'd love to see them in non video format.
optimus looks like he's seen some serious shit, or maybe his ptsd finally kicked in.
I put a backup here:
Will this break easily looking at most of its body are built out of plastics and there are so many small pieces?
according to yolopark, they’re going to use a combination of plastic, metal, and rubber to make sure he’s durable. so here’s hoping!
