same. i really hope it’s just the lighting and the angles that’s distortion his proportions. i know depending on what camera lens you use, it can really distort the figure, i’ll reserve judgment until this weekend

His head isn't that tiny in film. What even happened here?

Too much time at the psychiatrist Prime! They really are head shrinkers! Seriously, why the hell is his head so small and who really thought those proportions work on him? This is just a hand painted sample, right? so I\'m not even concerned with why the colors look so off. It seems like whoever painted it just went overboard with the faded/weathered look which I dont think the production copies will get. I just hope they fix the head cuz he looks great otherwise.

No it's a $2600+ version from another company.

I don't think Hasbro is pushing anything. I believe people just really like this design (and I'm one of those people). Threezero sold out of their BB movie Prime twice. Like even unofficial 3rd-party manufacturers are pumping out this Prime and it's not like Hasbro is telling them to do that.

The guy who snap the photo does not know how to pose and make the head looks weird.

What the the hell, he looks absolutely fucked. Even Toyworld looks more movie accurate than that.

i was going back through the old posts to find better pictures of yolo prime’s proportions, and i really think it’s the weird angles/posing of the recent pics that’s throwing him off. people that are complaining about the giraffe neck may or may not be aware that he has a neck that can actually extend. i’m quoting ryper80’s post that has a pretty good comparison between yolo and 3a, and tbh the proportions aren’t that far off.

only one or two more days to go before the toy show, so i’m really hoping yolo will use that to really show their figure.

thanks! yea, i’m really surprised nothing was shared yesterday. and that’s not the best pose to showcase the figure. but it’s good to see the head/neck looks just fine in the latest pictures and that he’s making progress from the gray prototype days

That's what happens when you give the fans what they've been asking over a decade for. To many fans Bumblebee Optimus is exactly what they've been wanting ever since the first mention of a live-action Transformers movie. I don't dislike movie Prime in the slightest, in fact I think his first design is classic and badass, but BB Op is more or less the Optimus that I feel has been in fans' imaginations for almost 30 years. He's practically just a realistic version of the G1 design, just with a bit more detail.

There's more people that will pay big money for that over a reimagining, even if the reimagining is cool.
