i’m still debating on the standard vs deluxe but can’t decide... with the limited numbered release, i’m tempted to buy one of each and then ask questions later, lol. man, been waiting anxiously for this guy for the past few weeks when they announced the dates, crazy how it’s about to open up. anyone know what time exactly that’s going to be?

I believe it will open up July 1st Hong Kong time. If I was spending $2000 on this figure you might as well go for the Deluxe. I might put the deposit down on the deluxe and just put some money on the side for this alone.

And what makes your opinion the majority ?
I specifically stated it was my opinion so people wouldnt come at me foaming out the mouth. But I cant win lol.
Anyways, my OPINION is if I had a dozen or more statues, Id probably just want more statues because art is art and I'm probally not a an action figure collector. Once again my OPINION is most of these statue collectors arent Transformers fans in the sense that you and I are. I truly believe a majority of them are movie/sci-fi fans who have a medley of statues from different continuities because they think the fact that its high end art makes it less geeky. They can be like "Im a f**kin baller, check out my art collection" on some P Diddy type s**t. Youre welcome to disagree with me. But that doesnt place your OPINION any higher on tje totem pole than mine.

This thing looks absolutely beautiful and I would love to have this in my collection. But unless there's some kind of pay later payment plan, I can't justify buying this.

it’s a $300/$350 deposit up front, with the remainder later on, so you have time to save up the rest.

Personally I'd rather spend $2000 for something like this that can be posed and has amazing engineering inside rather than 1000 for a similar sized statue, but that's my opinion.
I'm curious to see how long it will take tomorrow for preorders to sell out.

same. also. what i’m ask really curious about is how well the joints are going to hold up to dynamic poses. they showed the leg alone standing in a squatted position, but not when it has to support the weight of the rest of the figure, not to mention the hip range. this is going to be a crazy ride and leap of faith

I'm still in two minds if I should get one, import tax and shipping would probably be quite a lot us folks here in UK. That's an additional 20% on top :(  and I presume shipping would be in a region of £100? I'm not too convinced with the durability of the shoulder joint, all those pistons look quite fragile but overall it does look amazing. The base alone would take up my entire work desk. Space would be an issue too lol.
I've already pre-ordered 3A's Premium Prime and Bumblebee which seemed to be right on the price.

lol for $400 cheaper... i got one just in case i can make do without the clear parts since i don’t care about the base and hologram. it’s the limited release that really made me bite now than cry later, but that’s just me.

i just hope they hold up their end since this is a very expensive leap of faith, but i remain in awe of the amount of engineering and detail they put into this guy. i’ve been collecting for over 15 years and have always wanted something like this (well, i wouldn’t have minded if this amount of detailing also transformed lol but that’s wishful thinking). thought the metal structure nu gundam would’ve been my answer to a detailed figure, but that left a lot to be desired from the reviews and i’m glad i didn’t get that. i’m hoping this is it.

also, considering how they’re planning on making an entire line out of this, i don’t think they can afford to botch this up bc it’s going to set a precedent for whether that line, and maybe the company itself, succeeds or fails.

No shipping to Italy, I guess there is no risk I'll be tempted to put an order.

When checking out it says full price of HKD $2,730. Were you guys just charged for the $350 deposit once you clicked Pay Now? Kinda worried it's gonna charge the full price.

I'm really debating on ordering the deluxe or not. Kinda tempted but I also know this thing is huge and way too expensive.

HKD to USD makes that the $350 deposit. I’ve already got a pending charge of $398 from Yolopark on my CC. I think there are some additional fees for conversion.
