Yeah, this is the most interesting takeaway of this interview to me and makes me really interested for the lines after Evolution and beyond.

Yeah, most likely. Like I can understand TLK not being present for a while due to the TLK line starting less than year before SS started. But the first few waves had a decent bit of AOE in it.

As for the figures, I'd argue that Grimlock is still pretty good even if he has some flaws, like the T.rex mode not being the best. Lockdown is okay but he could definitely use a redo, and Stinger was pretty solid, at least in my opinion. It was nice to finally have a release of him over here! I remember getting the Takara Deluxe back in like 2015 since Stinger never came out over here.

 

I would actually prefer pretender shells to come out as either a selects or haslab type project rather than take up the mainline spaces. Maybe they could do a haslab set that covers the “optionals” for jg1 like pretender shells and headmaster conversion kits for headmaster jrs or Dino shells and deathcobra.

 

Finally AoE and TLK will be taking the spotlight! Hope we start getting some updates for characters like Lockdown, Stinger, car Drifr and the senties. What I want the most tho is the TLK Decepticon squad because I really need sone baddies for my shelf.
As for Legacy the only thing I would be willing to buy is a brand new Lugnut and Lockdown.

 

i just want the rest of the forms of the beast wars cast, from armada , demolishor , cyclonus, red alert and jetfire, and from cybertron i want a new cybertron prime, leobreaker , wing saber, starscream , vector prime and a titan primus, please no more haslab i am tire of that they overprice too much and include things i dont care about, in the case of g1 i am not worry they would eventually do every character there, but a studio series 86 megatron with "submarine mode" that include extra parts from shattered glass megatron to make a spaceship mode would be great

 

As some have already said, the best part of this is it seems no character is really
Off the table. So your dreams of random characters can really be realized!

FWIW, if having a shell that ALSO transforms is the only way to get a real Pretender, I'm fine with that. I'm just done with non-Pretenders.

 

I, for one, would be thrilled beyond belief if they actually said that.

I only want two things in relation to Pretenders:

A decent Thunderwing and the Pretender Beasts.

Thunderwing definitely, would love to see new figures of the beasts as well. Especially Carnivac. If I'm being honest I'm not even that picky in regards to how they do new figures of the Pretender characters (what they did with Iguanus, Bomb-Burst and Skullgrin Vs. Shells) I just wanna see updates of them in general.

I'd like a new Roadblock.

I think I would love to see more Pretenders of the inner robot, but they should also just come with a smaller core sized action master/RED figure of the "shell." It doesn't need to pop out or open up or anything, it just needs to be a fig that can be displayed with the other pretenders.

I would love to have a Metalhawk that just comes with a little mini-figure of his human form (And I would kill for that form to be the guy in the dress suit rather than the exo suit).

 

While I usually am the first to be gloom and doom over the lack of Bay attention, I was pleasantly surprised to hear Evan say "If they showed up, we're going to do them at some point (with a few exceptions)" - specifically referring to live action.
