That or keep doing the Pretenders the way you have been but with some kind of head swap gimmick

How far is "the far past" exactly in regards to Studio Series? I mean minus one off characters like the Mtn Dew bot, Decepticon protoform soldiers, less than popular characters like the twins, some obvious SS86 repaints (Frenzy and Ratchet), and finishing the SS86 Dinobots, I mean who else is there to do that falls into this area of TF movie history...? It seems like all they have left to do are AOE and TLK...

 

I really hope if they continue doing the pretenders they do it the way they have been. And for the Autobots… no human faces please.

 

As long as the shells aren't just solid bricks, I'm game. The humanoid ones need to indicate maybe a possibility of scaling with Titan Masters however... namely because Optimus sized humans is too bizarre.

The confirmation of the character restrictions I think is a big FINALLY moment for my fellow bay fans. It's kinda something everyone has thought was the case. Though them saying character restrictions aren't as much of an issue, I wonder if these two are back on the table?

Also yes, please on the modern deluxe pretender shells, especially for the other two Decepticon Pretenders from Super God Master Force, I need all 3 at the same size.

 

Yeah I’ll gladly pay deluxe price for a core with a shell. Give the shells more articulation than the originals and you got a unique idea for the mainline that I think would go over pretty well with both kids and the fandom.

 

Yes, give us Pretenders! I want a remake of Mega Pretender Thunderwing... the character from the G1 Marvel comic, not IDW!

I'm not as big on the shells as some, but I would like to see them give it a go at least once (my preference would be Commander Class Thunderwing).

 

I think you’re misinterpreting. AOE wasn’t on the table for the most part when the line started. We’re at the point now where the movie is almost 10 years old. I’d expect it and TLK to have a good presence in the ‘24 lineup.

 

Or, hear me out, play with it across the Size classes, say, "Deluxe" Cloudburst (Shell + Inner Core class bot), "Voyager" Waverider (Shell + Deluxe Inner Bot), "Leader" Landmine (Shell with some transformation element that can combine with the Short Voyager Inner bot in vehicle mode for a Mining Vehicle alt mode that has a hybrid design with elements of the G1 and Energon versions, or a beefed-up G1 Vehicle mode that proprotionally gives it a bit of an APC from Aliens look, basically bigger, more suitably industrial-looking), and "Commander" Thunderwing (Large transforming shell with a Core class Inner bot, straight G1 homage with same alt. modes combo, plus throw in the UK comic Quad gun, or two! Built-in Retool potential to Black/Sky Shadow), etc., etc.

N.B.: If do-able, maybe have a Weaponizer element to the non-transforming shells.

 

I don\'t get why they focus so much on animation accurate toys but when it comes to Pretenders they completely change focus and talk about the toy versions. Just keep with doing animation accurate and it would be so much easier.

I liked more of a titans return approach. Headmasters on the small pretender shell... That way they get close to the masterfoce anime where the robot forms were the giants.
