    This thread is hilarious.

So... people who go to a comic convention that has become essentially a general public sci-fi/movie/comic/toy attraction don't get to see as much of a TF sneak peek as do people who attend the official Transformers convention? I AM SHOCKED AND OFFENDED.

come on, man... yeah the wording was wrong and hyperbolic, but a) like a lot of other fans here, I think the unmet anticipation (not "waiting") is frustrating after that panel, whether it was built up from a month or a day, and b) yes, I'm sure there are some fans (maybe not the poster) who did experience your rhetorical example, who did arrange for tickets, wait in lines etc in preparation for this presentation and are, I think, the most deservedly disappointed.

For the first time in the years you guys have been doing the live feed, I actually scheduled my day around being able to read the live feed and look at all the cool new pictures as they came in. But instead, I got a nice chuckle at Hasbro's god tier trolling.
At least TFP looks really, really nice.

You're right, the panel was crap. But that post goes way beyond that.

Of course not. He's going to pretend he never posted that when the new Generations are revealed.

Only thing HM said is that they are looking into an ammo patch so it doesn't run so low.

Considering previous years, SDCC and Botcon both had unveils and info. It's not so surprising. Botcon is generally the no cameras panel, and SDCC is generally the public reveal outside of just the fandoms who showed up to the TF focused con but couldn't take pics.

All this tells me, is that the newest shown generations probably won't show up till 2011, which means after Toy Fair next year.

True, it was just total pure fan rage of someone being asinine, hyperbolic, and ignorant. ACK double posted. The one time this thread doesn't auto feed posts in front of me. xD

You...Are aware that SDCC showed the same stuff as Botcon in prior years, right? You know, like RotF Lockdown last year?

ZMOG Fail hAsblow! Failage! Why yo u hate us soo much? Poopie heads.

Seriously though, that was kind of a bust. But eh well...It doesn't mean the new figures we did hear about aren't ever going to come out. We just need to be a bit more patient is all.

Yeah me too. I thought "Oh hey, I'm actually in time for the live feed. Cool...Oh...There's nothing new here." lol

In defense of the people complaining, in the past few years we got to see most of what was shown at Botcon, and then some. This year, every single thing they showed we've already seen (or in the case of Generations, are already out in stores)
I can easily see why people think this is such a huge disappointment.
But to get as worked up as some people are getting, well...that's just silly.

The problem is that previous SDCCs have meant getting to see the stuff shown exclusively at Botcon. Plus the stuff revealed to Botcon attendees sounds amazing, so many of us hoped we would get a glimpse of all this cool stuff. It's a letdown to have anticipated a great show like the last few only to see absolutely nothing we haven't seen before.

    LOL, I like your perspective!

Anyway, just goes to show me not to believe things that large numbers of people are reasonably sure of...such as, "Just wait until SDCC! I'm sure we'll see pictures then!"

We still know that tons of awesome things are in the pipeline for Generations.

Still reasonably excited about the Prime panel.
