TFW2005 is proud to present to you all the first archive of official photos of Hasbro's Transformers products. This archive is a culmination of hard work by myself and some of the other 2005 staffers. We've put together our own personal collection of official images, acquired over the past few years, as well as images that Hasbro has released over the years to various online stores and online catalogs. There are over 1200 photos in total ranging from late Beast Wars to the current lines. Check them out by Clicking Here.
that's pretty cool, definately a unique idea. I'm sure Hasbro would get a kick from seeing fans put all their images (mistransformed ones and all) in one big gallery.
I'm surprised how many views the Beast Machines Archive section has been visited. As we come across older images, and newer ones are released to retailers and such, we will update with them. So thios will be a nice running archive of images. Alot of them are very high quality images. Great for wallpapers and stuff.
Perhaps these are already in there, and I missed them in my cursory examination (great stuff, so far!), but will this archive include any of Hasbro's original character art? Botch's archive is great, but since it doesn't contain anything that's not G1 (or even any Action Masters, since he simply refuses to include them), it's rather limited.
Probably not. I wanted this to be more of a photo archive of the actual figures and their boxes (where applicable). One of the main reasons was because alot of times, these are the same images used on the packaging. also, alot of these photos are done before production of the figure has commenced, and have colors that are not on the fully released figure. Gathering just box art, or released artwork would take alot longer, as Hasbro doesn't supply them to anyone unaltered. These images were all readily available, or easily acquired from various places.
Thanks for the response. I would certainly encourage anyone to put together such an archive of non-G1 (but including Action Master) artwork. (Tried to do so, myself, for a time, but finally realized that I simply don't have access to very much....)
