We're already seeing big budget cuts as prices increase. The rate of this consistently happening is out of control now.

oh no the budget! can they not afford their unpaid interns, or minimum wage employees, or below-moral-standards factories? does this have to do with the minimum wage hike in the US that still hasn't happened but is long overdue? or maybe this is to make up for all the recent widespread qc issues?

but phew, thank god for fan first friday and transformer tuesday. without a hasbro employee fumbling through a new toy occasionally i would almost think they didn't really care about their fans.

    Whose budget?
If less people are able to buy the product they'll have to raise prices a lot higher to reach their set goals.

Honestly, at this point I'm waiting for the day we see $30 deluxes, and that's the day I'm gonna have to call it quits on new figures. While I want to think that we'll never see $30 deluxes, that it's such an outrageous price hike that they'd never do it, I thought the same thing about $20 deluxes years ago. At this point, it's really a matter of time.

Meh, not like I buy many of their products currently. Just too expensive in CAD.

Goddamnit. This is already pretty expensive for me because of the rise of the USA Dollar.

honestly if they go up by any more then a few £ I'll have to really cut back. Not that I cant take the cost but the value for money just wont be there. Maybe it because I remember the current size and price structure starting around armada so my brain still thinks Voyagers should be £20-25 not the almost £33 some are going for now.

Yeah they can fuck off. More cost cutting and higher prices are a good way to kill off any interest. There's a reason people are starting to only buy this shit on sale.

Not to mention parents will be less likely to buy this stuff because technology is a cheaper and better way to satisfy kids nowadays.

Thought they were getting cheeky enough asking for £22.99 for a figure like Kingdom Cheetor.

Maybe it’s for the best since I’m trying to tie up loose ends anyway, and start to collect casually.

So that will be, what, $34.99, $44.99, $79.99 and $129.99 for Canadians?

not only that but we literally just got an article saying TF's are up 40% in the first fiscal quarter of the year. so are these price hikes supposed to be justified by... them already making more money? or are they using it to fund their environment-destroying, rich artist-only-appeasing NFT garbage?
