I picked up the Dinos! Finally.. geeze. They have been up for a few hours now. Looks like Hasbro is making good on their promise.

Where is Hun-Gurrr?! One would think the manufacturer, of all sellers, would be able to offer this damn thing to the public.

 

Hasbrotoyshop isn't run by Hasbro themselves. They are simply the official licensor of the brand for reselling of official merchandise. They literally can only sell whatever they can order. They are no different than a BBTS/TFSource, just with branding intended to imply a closer connection to Hasbro.

 

On the flip side it's one of the stores that's not marking up the toys "just because".

 

Thunder cracker is technically a last night figure with a new head.

Studio series aims to bring more accurate movie designs and black out despite his problems does a great job of that.

 

Got my shipping notice, should have the final 2 Dinobots on Friday, which is surprising, I expected next week, in time for my birthday.

 

I will admit it was nice to see a decent looking figure, but my biggest issues with it were the tabs, or lack of tabbing, the flimsy plastic, and just overall "cheap" feeling of it. I barely even moved an arm and it got a stress mark.

 

He is pretty frail with all the thin panels and some bad decisions on tabs and hinge joints. You also may have been unlucky with an extra bad copy.

Did you consider Leader Studio Grimlock? Unlike Blackout he actually has thick parts and is super solid. Studio series seems to have different designers from figure to figure. I wouldn't believe for one second that the same guy designed Blackout and Grimlock.

 

I almost bought Grimlock and Prime, bought because of Blackout, I've been worried about spending that again on the line. My Blackout I had would not stay tabbed in chopper mode, and Scorpinok fell apart the second I removed him from the box.

 

I am sorry guys. I love every one  here on tfw2005, weather you collect  chug, MP, or 3rd party but guys  this line is trash Hasbro  stopped giving a shit. if we stop buying it maybe  they will.

I like the potp line a lot. If you mean any movie line including studio series I agree.

 

I placed my order around 8am central on Wednesday. Moonracer and the two Dinobots showed in stock. Completed the order, got my paypal receipt but still no email confirmation. Tried to log into hasbro toy shop and my password automatically reset. Still no email on the temporary password.

 

I don't think the "email password" link works, or you might not have answers entered for the questions. I had to call them to reset mine.

 

*cries* How did I miss this for two days?!
