    God dammit.
A time for some actual product showcasing and they cancel.

    WTF Hasbro?

Surely this will go over well with the patient Transformers community.

Trade shows are an outdated and wasteful practice, anyways. They could go away completely and ultimately nothing of consequence would happen.

Unsurprising, but if this means more online reveals with high quality pics instead of people scrambling on the con floor to take shaky camcorder footage then I'm all for it.

Just because Hasbro isn’t attending, it doesn’t mean they are going to cancel reveals. Correct?

So why upset? Not like you guys are going to London, are you? :p

I guess some people really miss getting their dopamine hits on a few single pre-scheduled weekends throughout the year, instead of scattered sporadically throughout.

Hey. Remember when ToyFair was exciting and people looked forward to what was being shown off?

Hey, remember when the world didn't seem so shallow and materialistic that it would seem absurd to want to watch the world burn just so we could see photographs of some toys a few months before they hit store shelves?

Go be excited for a Fan First Friday instead. Same shit.

Has everyone suddenly forgotten that the London Toyfair rarely ever produces any news of note anyway.

Ah, right, isn't that the one that's typically locked down to outside photographers?

Lul. So we whining just for the sake of whining then.

Guess we're not getting any official Legacy and Studio Series reveals until they actually hit stores, then. A surprise around every corner, literally!

Who cares about official reveals, when we already know everything about a toyline or wave weeks-to-months in advance thanks to leaks? lol

Store listing leaks are a "whatever", but Hasbro still gets a significant percentage of first reveals in, at least in terms of actual product shots, which are what most people want to see, anyways.

Well, yes, there are listing leaks. But, what I want to see is what the upcoming toys actually look like.

Well, remember when the World's Fair was exciting and people looked forward to those?

Things just change, and an actual "Toy Fair" is just a formality these days.

The real losers in all of this are the small businesses that rely on stuff like this in hopes of retailers picking up their brands. None of this, London or New York, is for us anyway.
