Absolutely love it. Especially the leg transformation. If they ever do an Mp Springer the engineering is mostly done here. I’ve handled quite a few G1 inspired 3rd party Springers and imho this one is the most balanced across all 3 modes, and will be a breeze to handle/transform, and they managed to do it at retail budget.

    Another excellent design HasTak.

Oh, I thought it would be stop motion, not another serving of man hands with a side of toys.

There's a lot going on with transformation, I'll say that much. It's a buy on sight but I'll likely be keeping him in bot mode for the most part.

Bloody brilliant! This guy can't get in my hands soon enough!

Now the real question is will it be possible to remove the "battle damage" paint on the yellow parts without stripping the yellow too....

I swear if they release these figures in a clean version next year, I am taking a road trip to Hasbro HQ and open up a case of woop-ass! (I already know about Prime and Megatron.....grrrr!)

I'm surprised you didn't show Red Alert, Brunt and Refractor's video's. DaimChoc has a lot of informative stuff on his page.

Mod edit: Official source and videos added to the first post.

Looks good, would Springer get a repaint as anyone? We got a Rodimus in Transformers Cloud or whatever that subline was once I think.

Since we're getting a Barricade that appears to be based on Guido Guidi's G1 Barricade fanart, I'd love to see a repaint of Springer as his G1 Deadlock/Drift:

    Digging Springer of course.

And lol, it only took 14 years for Hasbro to realize that people enjoy watching transformation videos online.

That's what I was thinking too. If not in the mainline, then possibly as a Select Series figure with a new head.

He couldn't just rotate that last piece into place, could he? It's killing my OCD.

Sandstorm is highly likely and a Spinister retool would be nice as well.

I really enjoy the transformations in this line. They’re not overly complicated but feel efficient and smooth to move through.

I was eager to see Springers transformation and its spot on.

Just made me laugh how long it took to transform Reflector lol.

Man, Springer looks so good. Nice and clean, which is everything I could ask for with a triple-changer. I can only hope we see Blitzwing and Astrotrain down the line.

While I prefer the T30's rotor/sword and the overall look of the alt modes, the Siege version wins out in leg conversion and the better execution of the arm transformation. When I first heard that they were doing a new Springer, I thought it was redundant, but now, I think the line would be worse off without Springer.

I can't believe how much I dig that. I'd prefer a new more "Drift-ey" head - but that still kind of hits the notes I expect from the character. Bonus if they remolded the chest to look a little more sports car like.
