I must have been misremembering that article, I thought they were planned and not in development. If filming starts by July assume we can have a sequel by next December. I'd rather have Beast Wars though, for a different taste.

Welp....I like the Bayverse movies and think they should keep the style but fix the issues like the humor, having a female just for the scenes with her half naked and what you've mentioned. I have read a couple of those articles and wrote a response to one. We don't need Sam back. Heck I think Cade was a better charecter plus Shia said he thinks the franchise is dumb and pointless so why have him back? I'm working on some posts but sharing here....my past experience talking about my opinions here, it's a bad idea which is sad. Heck, for all I know, you could be laughing at this comment right now thinking dumbest thing you've read today but I won't know until I post and read if you'll agree, disagree in a polite way or insult me.

What about Vietnam, where the majority of TF's are made?

Well, you said it. And you're right.
Disney butchered Star Wars, and when you have to pander to China, you are going to get a bland, dumbed down product.

I’ve wondered how long Universal have the license for the theme park rides. Because at some point the ride is going need a refresh or they’ll eventually move them out for another viable IP. Because as far as I’m aware they’re still riding the aesthetic from the third film. Which is pushing just under a decade in age.

Exactly!! It shouldn't have to be that way. Where's the freedom to express one's imagination? Obviously not there, and people wonder why the people in hk are protesting...

Yes they are in development as the article by Variety states the two films are in active development.

However i highly doubt we will get a film by next year, 2022 is the earliest we could have a film. As we dont have a release date (all of the 2021 dates slated by Hasbro have been taken by other Hasbro franchises) and looking at previous TF films we would've heard of a director by now.

Is Allspark Pictures just TF stuff? Has it released anything besides BB?

No, I’m not laughing at you. I agree that Cade is a more likeable character. Plus he screams a lot less. I am not sure what you mean about liking the style of Bayformers, but if you mean the action, I am somewhat on board. I like the fact that there is plenty of action, but I don’t like the way the action is executed. The cinematography makes it difficult to see what is going on, especially with the constant change in camera angles and aspect ratio. Also, the Autobots killing Decepticons in combat is ok by me, because that’s what war is, but the brutality of it is kind of unnecessary. Plus the Autobots habit of executing submissive prisoners is not something that I would associate with a heroic character. Screentime for characters other than the humans, Bumblebee, and Optimus is also something I really feel is lacking. But I do like some of the more intelligently written humor of the movies, mainly the banter between certain characters and stuff. Just the humping, balls, and marijuana related “jokes” seem really low brow to me.

Allspark pictures produced the My Little Pony movie, and I would assume they are making the new one as well.

I'm most concerned with the COVID-19 issue (that literally no one is discussing!).

Hasbro's stock price is CRATERING. Nearly 50% down from its high in just a few days!! I can only imagine how mass quarantines or panic will affect toy demand, but spoiler alert: it will not be a beneficial force!

My guess is that Hasbro's stock bottoms at $30, some 75% below its high... My concern is how Hasbro will survive with the loss of investor money/confidence, the loss of consumer demand, supply line probs, etc.

The virus issue will blow over eventually, of course, but the speed of the damage (from people panicking), is just alarming and unnerving.

Welp, that's my Seacons delayed again.
But as far as reasons go, that's a pretty reasonable one.

I've been watching Hasbro stock for awhile now and your right, a massive drop, but, like every major stock invester is saying, don't panic, save your money and try to figure out where the bottom is, then strike. I was going to wait until it drops to about $40 and then buy. Consider Hasbro's top is at about $125 that will make for a nice 3x.

Are they out of business ? ........ No then there is your answer.

They are simply taking necessary measures like the rest of the world
