So it's NOT a new show like with an actual plot?

hmmmm I kinda suspect it\'s just going to be edited G1 episodes similar to G2 but with a focus on a character.

Fingers crossed they'll have the mythology for this universe properly set out before they start.

Consider me cautiously optimistic. Fell off Robots in Disguise, but am ready for some more animated Transformers in my life.
Any chance we hear any more at Hascon, or is this still too far off?

So basically they're taking Generation 1 and just re animating it and using updated voices for the characters? Also it will focus on the CHARACTERS? I'm confused lol

You know I would have preferred had this new cartoon series been one row down on the chart... Oh well, it is what it is I guess.

Few moments ago a Hasbro official confirmed that Transformers: Robots In Disguise will wrap up this year. It's confirmed fully now.

Could be misreading it, but it seems to be a new show based off of G1. But I believe it's entirely new.

I do think it's an all new take on G1 while keeping G1 at heart.

Define wrap up. Does it end with Combiner Force or are we getting a movie to finish the series? Another TV event series like the Starscream arc perhaps?

Just said that RID will wrap up this year. No mention on what season it will wrap up on.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It mentions "retelling old stories," so it may even veer into remake territory a bit, but it seems to be a new take on the more "G1" mythology.

Why does the 2019 Movie thumbnail make it look like they're putting it "in the rear-view mirror"? :p
