Would the reissue cut into sales of the Titanium version? I dunno about everyone else, but I want every transformable version of Soundwave I can get, even the somewhat odd Titaniums version.

I'll check on it thursday when I'm at work, and give a SKN number if there is one.

    Wow this is unexpected.

Awesome news though, despite owning 2 Soundwaves already and Soundlbaster I would totally buy him, although since they would probably elongate the missiles I would defiantly keep it sealed.

Hasbro panels will tell the truth. They may change their minds the next day, but I think what they put out there for info is generally accurate at the time.

This is awesome, i've been waiting for a domestic reissue of this guy for while now. Just out of curiosity, does anybody know what the estimated price for one of these dudes would be. I don't know a whole lot about reissue's, but if it's a reasonable price, i'll buy him up the first chance that i get to. As for it being a TRU exclusive thing, i would pefer that it wouldn't be. Mainly because i don't live that close to a TRU, and the fact that their known to jack up the pricing, resulting in fewer sales of it. Oh well, still can't wait to see classics Soundwave.

I'm with Fosterlager on this. :D  Nevertheless, the release of Soundwave will definitely be a good thing since the Takara's ver. is currently way outta reach (price, I mean)

I have only 1 request: PLEASE give us "STANDARD" CHROMED accessories, not BLACK, DULL ones.

Hopefully true, hopefully not stupidly priced. It's always nice to have a spare Soundwave, especially one whose knee joints don't keep making him fall forward.

Thanks for the info. I'm know planning on picing this guy up ASAP, just as long as TRU doesn't jack up the price too much.

I have a mint soundwave with all the original boxes and stuff, so its not much use to me - but I do hold out hope that the full range of tapes would be released. Awesome little beggers they were!

I'd absolutely add a minty fresh Soundwave to my collection! My old one is one of my most prized possessions, but a new one would be great...especially if it had the Soundblaster door hinge like the Takara re-issue (I love mold variations).

    $24.99 plus shipping.

And I wouldn't hold my breath for Soundblaster. If Ricochet is any indication, the average customer of these doesn't give a rat's ass about Japanese repaints.

We don't even know for sure if the rumor about a possible Hasbro Soundwave reissue is true. How do you expect anyone to know about potential pack-ins for a toy that might very well never come out to begin with?
