It's likely more people are hitting their site today than usual. Keep in mind, most of the people who are buying today may not normally buy from Hasbro, and are also the "exclusive hunters" who either buy for collections or inevitable resale.

 

That will just be an authorization. Depending on your bank, it should drop off in a day or two.

 

Dang, it \"sold out\" within the first 5-10 minutes.  Then it went up for \"pre-order\" a few minutes later.  Weird

This is awful. 70 minutes and still can't get a single order to go through!

 

Ok my order went thru finally. For anybody still having trouble, my solution appears to have been to empty my cart, add an item that wasn’t an exclusive (my little pony anyone?), go thru checkout and then see the credit card fields open up, then remove that item and go back and add the exclusive and checkout finally worked.

 

Go back a step and resubmit.

 

I'd recommend logging out of your account and back in, OR, clearing the browser cache.

 

89 left in the pit, also if you people are having problems checking out you need to back out and re-enter your credit card information it will go through then

 

Going back a step did not work for me. Neither did refreshing or clearing cache nor logging out or just emptying cart. Only worked after i tried to purchase a non exclusive item.

 

Thanks, that's what I realized after posting and recovering from the experience of getting that order in.

As a web developer for 25+ years, I understand the website issues that were happening (and have seen plenty of authorization charges) but that experience didn't make this purchase process any less frustrating or confusing.

Hasbro needs to innovate a smoother method of taking pre-orders.

What's everyone's e-mail situation? First time around, the pit sold out while fighting the disappearing credit card fields and spinning circle of death, but eventually everything else went through.

When the Pit went back up I ordered just that by itself, dealt with the same checkout bullshit, but eventually got through. Now I've got an e-mail confirmation for the Pit, but not the first order with everything else. It's on my order page, so hopefully everything's OK.

Damn. My condolences for anyone that was not able to complete their order. This was a fiasco.

 

I have over and over. I keep getting a something went wrong error.

 

I wonder if the problem is with how they check for duplicate orders. I ordered 5 exclusives yesterday without trouble. I missed two more that I wanted. But no matter how I try to get those two today, the order will not go through. Are any of you who have had success pulse members who ordered anything yesterday?

 

I am not a premium member. Had nothing but trouble today. I got my order in for the pit but I’m still upset and worked up over dealing with that this morning. Prob more so cuz it initially sold out.
