What could a Fan Vote for Kingdom be for?

 

usually the fanvote is held several months prior to the lines release, since the line is so close and we haven't seen a vote yet it's either going to be something easy to produce like core class or selects or maybe hasbro will have a fan vote every other line from now on in order to have more time if they want to make larger fan vote characters

 

Just as long as they don't put Terrorsaur and Inferno on the Fan Vote. That would be a difficult decision since I want them both.

 

Wow Hasbro hit a new low an online event for only the US and Canada, the exclusives were a subtle alienation of international fans but this is a blatant FU to the rest of the world.

Off the top of my head:
1. Pick a G1 character, pick a beast mode.
2. Pick a G1 character, pick a beast mode, pick a Transmetal mode.
3. Pick a G1 character, pick two beast modes and the result is a new Fuzor.
4. Pick a G1 character, pick two beast modes and the result is a new Mutant.
5. Pick one of the three Autobot Titans and their beast mode.

The only rule for which options I present: None of the characters or beast modes can be ones that we've already used. So the result would be more like Windblade than Victorion.

Cool. I wonder how much stuff we can expect to see here... probably finish off the Earthrise reveals and give us a peak of Kingdom and Studio Series. Honestly though... I'm more interested in their non-Transformers reveals at the moment since outside of Marvel Legends those have been sparse. Particularly for Lightning Collection, Plasma Series, and Classified.

They have serious balls to be saying “Where fans come first” mere weeks after making multiple releases near-impossible to get outside of the US.

 

The event is ran by Hasbro pulse, which serves the North American market. Chances are low they will actually region lock the streams (why bother?), But the perspective will be towards their NA customers. I think people are reading too much into the line, but I will apologize if I am wrong. I imagine anything Takara or Hasbro Asia will do will also focus on their markets.

ETA: Acknowledged I should have said Canadian and mainland US markets, not North America since Pulse doesn't ship to all of North America (or always all parts of the US from what I understand).

 

Pulse caters to North America exclusively, it is run by the North American branch of Hasbro. It's not really Pulse's fault that Hasbro UK is and always has been shit. Sure from one perspective they "have serious balls" but from another perspective your perception is skewed and you're ignoring the fact that Pulse doesn't cater to fans outside of North America and as a result you don't matter to them (no offense intended by this statement, but from a business perspective Pulse doesn't care about customers outside of America. If you want them to care you should hound your local Hasbro branch).

 

Only problem is, Pulse sells out of everything in like 2 seconds.

 

So it seems, if they want a better reputation they should put more methods in place to stop scalping if they already haven't done so. Ultimately they can only do so much, shitty people will always find ways to be shitty, but there should be more they can do to prevent this kind of thing from happening.

Then they should probably change that moniker to "Where fans in North America come first". At least then it'd be more accurate.

 

Maybe they're concerned the focus of the event will be on products people won't be able to purchase afterwards?

So while anyone could tune it...it may come off as rubbing it in their face if once it's done they can't actually obtain anything shown?

 

Could this be the event where they finally, officially reveal Kingdom figures? NYCC is effectively cancelled, they will do a virtual but it will probably bomb like SDCC did, this might be in place of NYCC, I doubt they'll have anything for NYCC, makes more sense to do their own thing.

I feel like they really need to get ahead of the Kingdom leaks otherwise TonTon and weibo will reveal the whole 1st wave before we ever get an official hahaha

Why would a store that doesn't ship outside of North America care what non North American fans think? They're already not catering to fans outside of North America, those fans are not their customers

Based on what we know, it’s launching in December so an announcement soon would make sense. Although I do agree that ER should have lasted longer, we know Wave 4 was cancelled.
