The face on that Titan Ark in the Kingdom artwork is definitely giving me some "Last Autobot" vibes from Marvel's G1.

 

Yep, that rumor was floated about, I think it was the very first thing we heard when the ark was hinted at.

Your wording implies that the Titan ark isn’t confirmed to transform into a robot. Which it does.

 

I love how loud and proud the beast modes are on the packaging. Reminds me how devoid of robotic flourish the initial BW boxes were, fully committed to the animal motif.

Aside from the red face, I also love the colours. I prefer my toys "tastefully vibrant." Not so bright and loud as to be gaudy or pastel, but not so dreary as to seem lifeless.

Nope, you can see the edge of the peg hole inside the tail on the "top" of his arm. That pin is just his elbow.

 

That depends on what the Ark transforms into. If it transforms into a Teletran-1 playset for CHUG scale figures, they probably wont go crazy with G1 core class. Maybe just G1 Megs.

It doesn’t. It’s a big fucking transforming robot. Not a playset. Why is that so hard to grasp?

 

Plus, I think the store listings for Huffer and Pipes were for deluxe class figures, not core.

Primal looks... goofy. He has wooly pants on? Just kinda weird. Also the gorilla face is more King Kong angry style. I question also why they decided to make him a Voyager? Megatron towers over him, and in the show they were the same size as I recall.
Megatron is... I dunno. The neck of the T-rex is a mess of panels, and as I read, it is rubbery plastic. Also seems the claw is not removable, and I hated that thing on the original. May get him, maybe not.
Cyclonus is huge for a Voyager. Almost leader sized. Nice that he has no kibble, I assume the nosecone collapses in the chest, same as the old Deluxe toy. Legs look far better than on the first photo.
New core OP is... like the RVTS Legion toy, but with more detail. Not really interested, to be frank. Will likely skip these small G1 remakes, I already have plenty to use for the Ark.
Vertebreak has the same problems the PaleoTRex has, just a skeleton standing upside, not really beefy enough for a proper robot mode. Skipping.
Blackarachnia looks far better when properly transformed, something no reviewer managed so far. Spider form looks more cohesive and the legs unlike the MP toy can support her body.
Warpath is epic, must have.

I am mostly curious about the artwork they shared. Shows the Ark-robot who looks amazing. I can see Gears, Soundwave and Polar Claw on the side, makes me think the Netflix Soundwave is just a color variant and that toy will get a regular release in Kingdom. Gears has the proper "wall-face", nice to see a return to classics. Odd choice to have Polar Claw instead of a cartoon BW character. Design looks close to the old toy but more furry.
A lot more of these fossilizers are shown, including a crocodile, some purple Protoceratops like thing with oddly regular robot arms and a head (maybe that's Vertebreak) and a Styracosaurus who has a rather Scourge-like face. Also, Primal is wielding the remains of a sabertooth tiger like a club, it looks... ridiculous to see giant robots basically use bone weapons instead of metal.
Inferno, Tracks and Huffer and Magnus look pretty cool. Galvatron seems to be based on the IDW design, I think. Oddly Waspinator and Rhinox seem identical to their Generations toys. Maybe they will just be reissues?

 

Nice. I was hoping they'd do that since their deluxes are 18.84 right now.
