Not a fan of the Ark Titan. Trypticon as the Nemesis, especially as depicted in FoC, worked. It was a punishment for the giant and made Megatron live up to his "utilitarian" methods. His greatest weapon failed as a warrior but could still serve him as a transport. This Ark Titan feels like it's just there to give the Autobots a giant robot on their side. If it was the Axalon I *might* have a different tune but can't say for sure. The Ark transforming just feels wrong. I cant explain it better.

 

There's lots of stuff I need to get here, I think for me right now Beast Megatron takes the cake as my most anticipated one of the bunch.


I also just want to say, after seeing Polar Claw there, a toy only figure/character, I kind of had a sudden reminisce of days when not only would we get the entire cast of a show in toy form, but there were plenty of other non show toys. Beast Wars was a definite example of full cast and then some, but even up through AEC with ones like Energon Sharkticon and Cybertron Shortround. Now we just seem kind of lucky to get as many characters in toy form as we DO get, and there's absolutely not any room for some other toy that wasn't from the show the line is promoting. I guess I'm just suddenly realizing toy lines now would never have a figure like my favorite one from my childhood and I think that kind of stinks.

 

Megatron's old leader size? Oooooooooooh yes!

Genuinely asking, what's the purpose for making this legends/core class Optimus?

 

Does anyone else kind of like the Core Optimus a bit more than Earthrise? The slight differences in style and proportion work for me. I hope someone oversized him.

 

Probably money... and who doesn’t love a cheap, tiny transforming Optimus.

Does anyone know if there is a precedent of them posting these video panels online, or if there were captures made? I REALLY wanted to show this panel to my son, but missed it because we were accidentally still watching the "entertainment" panel.

 

Getting Primal, BW Megatron, the Ark Titan with the Last Autobot’s face and all of the G1 and Fossilizer figures. I can’t wait for Ark Titan!

 

I hope that's the name they put on the box.

 

Not really familiar with The Last Autobot (will check him out on TF Wiki later), but I'm not too impressed with the artwork for the Ark's robot mode. Maybe the toy will be different, but to me, for the moment, it lacks character. Maybe a nice head sculpt, or some asymmetrical details will do it for me. And I'll still get the toy, if only to get the Ark and Teletraan 1, just saying the artwork didn't get me.

But that's about the only thing that didn't work for me today, and technically it wasn't actually revealed.

I was already grooving the "TonTon line" and the newer figures look to knock it out of the park. Loving Munky, and that's a Cyclonus I've wanted forever. Don't get me started on the dracorex.

I bought all 10 figures on Pulse. I don't need to get them first, and I love BBTS and Prime, but I hope to see more such events in the future and wanted to toss some coins directly Hasbro's way to encourage it.

 

Hopefully there will be a Diaclone colored Ultra Magnus this time.

Is the core class Prime supposed to be in \"scale\" with Primal. Just seems silly if so when the Beast Wars show clearly showed that the 84 transformers were several sizes larger than the the Beast Wars cast.

 

No, it's just a way of having G1 Prime in the line.

Jazz\'s absense continues to be conspicuous... They redid nearly all of G1, but no Jazz. Also no MP Jazz... 

 

Jazz will be in Studio Series 1986 line from what the rumors seem to be saying.
