Got an email from Pulse saying that (after 2 years now) my membership is expiring... anyone else getting this? Screen caps below. Any info on how much this is going to cost? I got in for free when I ordered "combat Megatron".

Mods, please move thread if in wrong forum. 20210216_213827.jpg 20210216_213856.jpg

The free shipping and early access were perks that I took advantage of last year. I’m not sure how true the rest of those are.

I doubt I’ll renew this year. Still not much value there relative to the $50 price tag.

When does this actually expire? End of the month?

Yep, just got it too. Oh well.

EDIT: For the record, I got it for free back when the site first launched by buying Selects G2 Combat Megatron(the first one.) So thats admittingly a pretty good deal to have kept it for 3 or so years.

Well, glad to know it's not just me. I'll bite on the $50 this year for the SG exclusives, but the G1 barrel has almost been scraped dry and then I may be out...

I'd be curious as to who actually sees the benefits as worth renewing. In two years, and having used Hasbro Pulse a fair bit, I'm still not seeing it, myself....

Not renewing. Sure, early bird is nice, but it's for what? One item per year? $50.00 for that and free shipping?

    Naw. I'm out.

A sincere thanks to Hasbro for extending my 'early adopter' membership another entire year. Made the pandemic suck a little bit less.

Dunno if I'll renew or not. $50 is quite a lot, especially with how vague everything about it still is... although early access to the Pulsecon exclusives and free shipping on everything were damn amazing to have.

The two pros I'm currently thinking are: 1. early access to con exclusives and 2. occasional restocks of Takara exclusives that other retailers may not get, and getting free shipping on them (currently thinking something like God Neptune).

Not necessarily enough to convince me to pay the $50, but those are the best perks I see.

Do we know for sure if Unicron's free shipping was covered when we ordered? (since it looks to be shipping after the march 1st date)

If Pulse were the first online store to get their own toys, I'd stay signed up for sure. But I've canceled quite a few orders this past year when the Transformers I preordered came in stock at other stores first.

Although, I think I recall a rumor that Pulse was going to start getting some stock for exclusives from other stores, like Target and Wal-Mart. I'd stay subscribed for access to those figures, if I could be confident in getting them.

Man if they offered membership with a purchase of some type I'd be on board.

But I'll probably sign up. Man I hope they make it worth it though.

Yeah I think I'm in on the renewal, with the lines that I cherry pick and some stuff like Selects or Fan Channel exclusives that drop one at a time I don't always get up to the $50 cart total to activate free shipping. This more than paid for itself in the first year or so for me, so it's a no brainer on my end.

Amazon Prime is comparable for free shipping, and though I use that for other stuff, but I've given up on Amazon between bubble mailers and unreliable preorder cancelations.

Yup- one of the few things I have pre ordered from them (sort of an experiment) was pushed back until april, in the meantime it's already available online at a mark up (which seems to be shrinking every week). If the price comes down much more, I'll probably be canceling that preorder...

Mine is the basic membership aka free. Not worth the premium 'cause, well I can source their "exclusives" elsewhere for cheaper shipping.

How has the g1 barrel been scraped dry?
There's still about 50 micromasters, 5 targetmasters, 7 headmasters, the omnibots, triggerbots/cons, sparkbots, firecons, a whole mess of missing cassettes, pretty much all of the pretenders, and action master original characters.

Oh, and about 5 years worth of Japanese and European g1.

I remember they mentioned something about an overhaul to the membership. Possibly a way to buy into it simply from just purchasing enough figures instead of outright paying for the membership. I'm probably going to renew it, but not sure when.
