I'm gonna get all of these! I'll get BB when he's reduced though. There'll be loads left of him like two months after release so he'll probs be reduced  

 

Is is me or does Bee look like they took the basic Movie-verse design and just sculpted on the new Prime aesthetic?

 

Not really. I mean there is some inspiration taken from movie bee to be sure. But the shoulders are comepletely different, his legs transform more like RtS Jazz from the they look and Im pretty sure his chest is far more complicated than any Movie we've seen so far. So other than ths doors ending up on his back I would classify this as a different design  

 

You know, now that you mention it, yeah, he looks like he takes a lot of cues from Jazz. Even the hood transform look like it could be a direct lift from Jazz.

Hopefully THIS Bumblebee gets a Jazz/Prowl/Bluestreak/Rad/Jackpot/Anything remold/repaint instead of "MechAlert" or "CyberAttack" Bumblebee

 

um it's not just BB clogging shelves people. most DOTM junk is still clogging the shelves.

 

Nitro BB is the primary offender here. Compare that to the rest of his wave. There'll be maybe 2 Mudflaps,2 Laserbeaks and I haven't seen a single Thundercracker since I bought him. Well,I did,but the box was ripped in half,which gave me a good laugh. Compare that to the 10-15 Nitro BBs that I see every time

 

My Wal-Mart has tons of the first and second wave (including Bumblebee, Nitro Bumblebee, Skids, Ratchet, Crowbar, Sideswipe, Starscream, Jolt, Roadbuster, and Topspin). They had a few third wave guys for a while, as well as the deluxe Prime, but they're all gone now.

 

Deluxe Crowbar doesn't exist yet,you must mean Crankcase. BTW,Nitro BB is in the third wave,not the second

 

nitro BB an awesome BB mold espically when armed with topspins weapons

 

I've also seen a picture of Prime BB having joints on his back so the doors can slide closer together, as opposed to the G1 Jazz/Prowl look of having them near his shoulders.

 

Not as good as the regular DOTM mold. Take off his ugly noggin and give him Battle Blade BB's and he's the perfect BB

Looking at Bumblebee's behind, it almost looks like he is going to be the same transformation as a movie Bumblebee.

 

Why not? They're essentially the same character model. A similar transformation seems logical.

 

I would have thought they would change a bit.

 

Like discussed before, it looks like he shares more in common with RTS Jazz's transformation than Movie Bumblebee. And surprisingly, his chest transformation looks different...it actually compresses together somehow instead of the nipples just sliding up and rotating a bit.

Only part I don't like is how you can see giant car bits on his lower legs.
