I know it's a bit early, but what plans for the 30th Anniversary line do you want Hasbro to use? Special Packaging? Reissue Predaking? A Special Classics Prime with trailer? Megatron (classics style) with Maruader Megatron's design? Release new molds based on key characters from the last 30 years? A Unicron vs Primus gift set? Generations Constructicons?

 

Knowing them, they'll reissue the entire Movie Bumblebee collection

I'm going with smaller figures, less paint apps, cheaper plastic, and a higher price tag.

 

Anything apart from more boring classics aesthitic toys. I'd like to see a really nice masterpiece Optimus and Megatron 2 pack. Or an MP Bumblebee with Spike.

In reality, I think this will be the occasion MP Soundwave gets released. Only way to justify the alt mode.

 

Its G1, they are going to milk that cow for years to come. I'm thinking something like MP Shockwave or maybe voyager scale combiner figures.

Now for real debate, what will they do for the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars.

A new line dedicated to NOTHING but modernized G1, sort of like the Classics/Universe 08/Generations but instead of new alt-modes for characters like Perceptor or Kup, the actual alt-modes from G1 just Classics-ized.

Bit of a fever dream, but I don't care.

 

I would guess MP Soundwave would be the centerpiece. 30th anniversary would probably be reference on a lot of the toy packing as well.

A 'reimagining' of Megatron is completely unsuitable for the anniverary of G1. tank Megatron, while awesome is G2 and belongs there.
