I hope this leads to a series of Magic the Gathering movies based on the novels. An Urza/Mishra war film would be spectacular.

Candy Land could be a decent Narnia-like film for younger audiences.

Stretch Armstrong? When the hell did he come back? Does this mean they could ressurect Battle Beasts? Oooo, oooooo, only good thing I can think of Live Action Jem and the Holograms. (Come on you know you want to see a movie about an all girl band filled with vivaceous women.) :D  :lolol

An update to the Clue movie might not be so bad, as long as they get Chris Loyd and was it Tim Curry? To reprise their respective roles or perhaps considering their ages play all new ones.

A live action My Little Pony in the works huh.

On a serious note, hopefully this does pan into the theme park area

(LaFontaine) "In a world... where FOAM can KILL..." (/LaFontaine)

Seems I read an article recently that talked about other toy companies shopping their own properties around for possible motion picture treatment after the success of "Transformers". A film based on the Magic Eight Ball was explicitly mentioned.

Yes, a M:tG movie is in the works. That was specifically mentioned in the press release the mailed. I would include a copy but it is labeled confidential.

My Little Pony. Live action. WITHOUT the 'No animals were harmed' disclaimer. I think a little branding would have to be involved...

What's the point of labeling a press release "confidential"?

Here is what it says @ the end re: confidentiality:

I'm sure it is a form thing that is at the end of every e-mail but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I got the e-mail from a WotC higher up thanks to my time in the industry as a reviewer.
