I *think* there’s a tutorial/practice mode, but I understand what you mean. Multiplayer games are aggressive, while I am (usually) not. Out of the ones released so far, who's everyone’ favorite?
As a former player, there is a training mode as well as a practice against bots mode (where you and some other people are throws against bots of varying AI difficulty). But the main thing is pretty much the multiplayer, which of that the big thing is the competitive mode (if you've ever played LoL...). Between that and the realization that I was only playing for loot drops as opposed to really enjoying the game is why I quit a year or two ago.
Color me shocked that the closest Target received a case. I was looking for Marvel Legends but, unfortunately, they had stocked up on Ant Man, Wasp, and Maleki to celebrate Endgame.
I picked up the two packs at Walmart this past weekend but I haven't had time to on them. I'm hoping the Reinhardt won't be a huge brick since I used to main him when I played. I did see a few of the singles but I passed for now. I'll eventually pick up the basic skin figures and then try to pick just my favorite skins like Bloodhardt and Mechaqueen.
Picked up Pharah/Mercy and as a set they’re a mixed bag. Mercy is just fine, it’d be nice if she had some non-Valkyrie mode wings but otherwise is solid all round. Good effect parts and she can hold her accessories without issue. Pharah on the other hand is a bit of a mess. I’ve got the same loose bicep as most people and her arm movements are incredibly limited so she can’t really hold her rocket launcher properly which is unfortunate. The wing sections feel very thin, almost 3d printed in texture but not anything that feels like it will break. Her saving grace is the included stand which pairs up well with her effect parts to compensate for the weaknesses of the mold. For those curious, here is how they scale with the DX9 Bastion. Looks like a good scale to me.
Managed to snag Lucio, he looks fantastic so far Completely wiped of Tracer and Sombra tho. Also man, really wish they did normal Reaper instead of Gabriel.
There's no way there won't be a standard Reaper in the future. He's one of the most recognizable characters in the game. But since they're willing to dip into the alternate skins for the characters, they're just not front-loading the line with ALL of the iconic looks so that the line will still continue to draw interest into the future.
If it was purple, I could see it. But aside from that not really, maybe as a generic 'con. Purple is Shockwave's iconic color after all. However I could see Hasbro taking some TF designers to make the Dune Buggy skin first.
I think I register the grey as "close enough", due to "Shackwave", and his Animated incarnation. For me, it's the head shape on Stealth that reminds me of Shockwave far more than Bastion's standard design. I'd love to be able to troop build his new "Gwishin" skin, though. That's a killer robo-trooper design.
Ah, I get where you're coming from now. Animated was indeed one of my favourite versions of SW and now that you mention it I do see the resemblance, and Bastion's Gwishin skin is kinda reminiscent of his Prime incarnation (my #1 favourite). Talking about Archives... Ashe & BOB would be essentially a 2-pack, no other way they could go around it - it'd be the only way Ashe would sell since everyone would want BOB. It'd be also surprising if Hasbro went the extra mile and actually did a 2-pack of Orisa and her creator, Efi: Efi Oladele Hopefully these first waves sell well enough to continue making the full roster + other skins.
I'd be really happy if Ashe was released on her own. BOBs size means he'd likely be at the Reinhardt pricepoint which is more than I'm willing to spend on anyone not named Orisa. If she did show up in a 2-pack it'd probably be with McCree.
Oh man, THAT's the one I'm looking for. Reinhardt looks pretty impressive. How's the quality and articulation, like can he double-hand the hammer? He seems to be about on par with the Hulkbuster.
