Mercy looks just beautiful. So glad we're getting a cheaper but in a good way alternative to getting figures of the cast of Overwatch other then figma.
Agreed, though Hasbro's in a tough spot because (in my opinion anyway) the gap in quality between Hasbro and Figma is way wider than the one between Hasbro and Figuarts. Hasbro ought to get their full line out way faster though.
I've been meaning to actually play the game, but I really enjoy the character designs. If I ever have spare cash (hahahahahahahahahha!!!), I'd be interested in picking these guys up.
I get the feeling the paint is gonna be worse on these compared to the Figmas. However, the detailing and the shape of the face seems WAY better than some of the Figmas. The only human face Figma that REALLY looks like the character is D.Va. Widow, and Tracer all seem just a little too off. I am glad to see another company take up the brand and maybe breathe some life into it.
Even though I'm getting all the Figma Overwatch figures, I will for sure get these as well! I hope they are in scale with the Figmas but most likely not. As long as they are in scale with each other though I'm hyped! Plus Hasbro has a higher chance of making MEKA than Good Smile probably!
Well, there goes my money. I have the Figma Tracer and I honestly don’t like it that much. The articulation is great, but the face sculpt is really off-model. Between that and the price I’ve never been interested in picking up another one (now Nendoroids, on the other hand...)
I’ve enjoyed the Figma figures I’ve got so far but I really hope this line gives us the complete roster. There are also some alt costumes that I would love to see as remolds.
BAF D.Va mech too plz One nice thing is that these won't murder the budget like Figmas and they'll actually come out at a rate of more than one toy every millennium. Yeah, Japanese collector lines are obviously superior in terms of build, articulation, etc, but if these follow the Marvel Legends style, they should be good enough for jazz. BAF Bastion too, and one that transforms. Come on Hasbro, not like that's what you're known for. Actually, I figure most tanks will be BAFs, like Roadhog, Hammond, Winston, etc. And do variant costumes too! I'd love to hold Witch Mercy in my hand, and please don't interpret that as anything more than it is Speaking of Mercy, she needs an action feature where she gets nerfed with every new wave of figures that releases.
I don’t play Overwatch, but at the very least I’m in for a Zenyatta. I will say that Mercy looks very nice here. Hopefully the other characters will be done just as well.
As long as they don't have oddball eyes like some of the female marvel legends figs. then I'd be down for Sombra, Brigitte, and Mei/Snowball.
Not bad. I've avoided Marvel Legends for the sake of space and my wallet but I may bite on these despite owning all of the Figmas so far.
