When I buy Transformers it's normally from Hasbro because it's cheap, but when I bought my first third party toy from maketoys called Paladin/Chaos (The Fallen), I noticed so much quality in the toy. But there is one thing, it's crazy expensive. I need you to answer this poll please.

That's hardly a fair poll. I love my Sigma L but by no means is that a slight on Hasbro's effort. They're both nice new takes on a classic character.

The way I see it, if you are willing to grab Sigma L for its price, you can afford to grab both. $70+shipping versus $16.... sorry sidetracking since at time of writing I was informed that ITS GOING FOR $18.99?!? No, not even. So instead I will make this argument to you because I cannot in good conscious tell you to spend >$25shipped on Mindwipe, as good a figure as it is: $70+shipping for Sigma L, or $70+shipping for all of wave 2.

I have no doubts that Sigma L is worth the money, in fact I EXPECT IT to be for the asking price and the reputation of the Function X line prior to it. Wave 2, however, is full of good figures and has its overall play pattern going on with it. Most importantly, though, is you got half of the G1 'deluxe' headmasters and all of them are in the same style.

So one figure that will have good shelf presence or four figures all with the same aesthetic.

Fansproject has superior quality all around. Don't get me wrong, I do like the TR Brainstorm and Hardhead. But FP's version is bad-ass all around. Also, FP's Skullchruncher is a night and day difference when compared to TR's. TR's is a sloppy mess.

yeah, but if you don't plan on, for example, putting a clobber on the bat transtector ever, then go third party. if you enjoy swapping the heads, go hasbro.

I'm not a headmaster fan, but I at least know you'll have more fun with fansproject, if you want cartoon accuracy, go with takara.

Depends on your collection. Do you have the other FansProject FX Headmasters?

I myself am sticking with Takara as I'm getting the rest of their G1 Headmasters and definitely want uniformity across the line. Solo though, I would go with FansProject OR if you're building your Headmaster collection with their entire line.

I like that because Hasbro is cheaper, it's "somewhat" quality

Then don't decide, Leon. Hard decisions call hard solutions. And here are two hard-asses ready to step in and take charge! You asked for 'em Leon, you got 'em, here they are Buzzsaw and Dynamo! Phil tell us all about this champion tag team!

If you don't have a problem with thievery or overchargeing, go for 3rd party.

I've had a bit of a similar problem, deciding whether to cave and get some of the Hasbro 'bots or to spend the extra and get the TT versions.

I'm a little biased but I'd go Hasbro's Titans Return Mindwipe.

A lot of 3rd Party stuff is just plain ugly and not worth the insane prices asked for some.

go hasbro. if playability is important, then you could buy more figures!
