Guys this is a "retail" sale thread. The whole motivation is if you're able to help a fellow board member with an item for cost + shipping, that's what this thread is for.

 

Take this as a grain of salt. I've spoken to several Managers at TRU stores in the continental U.S. Many of them spun the BS talk of not knowing when they will get AS and/or SW in stock, some have provided cryptic hints about the weekend of the 10th. I cannot vouch for their word, but worth looking into as this was word from different stores from different states. Keep your eyes out folks.

Just this morning, I've been informed of a stash of 2 Soundwaves at a store about 170 miles roundtrip from me. These were layawayed by a friend who wanted wanted to see if anyone needed them. I can work out the math on Cost+ship+Paypal fees if anyone is interested.

 

The best way I have found to get soundwave is to go into a TRU and have them do a store search. They can check the stock at all TRU stores. I live in Ohio and they found one for me in NY. Have them call they store were its in stock and they can do whats called an out of stock over the phone order. If you want a soundwave and don't want to pay scalper prices this is the best way I found to get one. Its how I got mine.

 

Do they ship soundwave back to the ohio store or would the NY store just ship it to your house and if they ship it to your house what is the shipping charge.

This is interesting, as I went to my local TRU last night looking for SW and found a case being held at the guest registry register up front. 1 was being held for a customer who was on the way to pick it up, so I decided to buy the other 3 to help out here in this thread. The manager immediately came out and put the kabash on that. He informed me that I could only buy 1 and would absolutely not sell me another, even if I came back on another day or later last night. Sounwave is either hitting saturation or the ppl who don't have one are being really fucking stubborn about not paying a dime over retail, since there seem to be pleanty available around here for cost + tax/shipping.
