You would not BELIEVE what I came across today! Hasbro's MP-22 Masterpiece Bisk! For a mere £14.99 (on sale from £23.99!) at TRU (UK) he was in my sweaty little hands and back home. Following on from MP Tradition MP Bisk is packed in Alt mode. And he really looks the part, but he could have more paint apps. They're functional but he's missing apps on his front grill and spoiler. Another complaint is his plastic almost looks too plastic? I know it's made of plastic, but in a line called 'Masterpiece' I don't want it looking like a toy, a bit like Takara's MP Wheeljack did. But aside from those minor quibbles he's gold. Well, orange. Transforming this guy is absurdly easy, you simply pop the car halves apart like so... And then rotate the car side 360 degrees... So you're left with something like this. Stand him up... Clip the two sides together like so... And there you have it! Masters Of the Universe Claw-ful! Wait, wrong line... Masterpiece Bisk! Now I gotta say, his robot mode doesn't quite look like the Masterpiece in the box. It's close and I suppose 'contents may vary' here but he doesn't even have his blasters! His articulation is very limited, especially for a Masterpiece, only his elbows bend. I would have preferred something more so I could make him express more. Maybe a head turn? His conversion is a pure joy, when you rotate the halves of him his legs and feet and unfold with a nifty automorph type of transformation, and I'm guessing that's where the Masterpiece budget went. Seriously, once you see it you'll be hooked! The engineering on this guy is unreal. There weren't any instructions or paperwork, indeed the only instructions I could find were on the box itself, (and they're wrong as well they say you only have to rotate it 180 degrees?). In fact, it realistically only takes 3 steps to convert! Pop open, rotate, close up. It's like I'm Hyperchanging it. Wait a minute... TLDR If you don't like this you have no soul. Contender for toy of the year.
