I feel like there needs to be disclaimer that the picture being used in the OP is not the Hasbro version. The Hasbro version is silver and black like his usual colours.

Just for further clarification - no images were attached to the original news story, as Hasbro Australia didn't have official images yet to give out. As such, if had received images, or get them soon after, it would have been posted here as news to verify the information.

If it is showing up at ToysRUs Australia within a couple weeks, keep an eye on their website for official images... if it doesn't show up in other countries first.

Well unless things have changed it should be Sideswipe then Starscream, however I bet all of that will be cleared up at Botcon or at least by Comic-Con.

So did Hasbro confirm Sideswipe? Al I have seen thus far is the bluestreak and Starscream confirmations despite the initial one liner by a hasbro person at some convention a year ago saying sideswipe was coming

Yes, the BotCon panel was the only time Hasbro ever mentioned Sideswipe.

Just curious, what was the source of Sideswipe being released first?
That's the first I've heard of an order for this year's Hasbro Masterpiece toys. We didn't even have numbers allocated to any of them yet.

There is only one source for Sideswipe in general, assuming you don't have additional info.

At last year's BotCon, Hasbro said they'd release Sideswipe. That's it.

Some fans apparently interpret that statement predating the subsequent confirmation of Bluestreak and Starscream as an indication of their release order.

I'll 3rd that sideswipe rumor, I've only seen him listed in the huge Hasbro Customer Service website leak and as someone else said, hasbro said they want to (or would like to) release him. I would assume he was passed over for Prowl for one reason or another, and this year we're getting bluestreak. Sideswipe was not confirmed, but we have TRU listing for Starscream and Bluestreak.

That's good news overall. Two great figures (Bluestreak and Starsaber).

Interesting. Did Star Saber have a presence in Australia originally?

No we didn't, but I don't think Hong Kong did either, yet they get most of the TakaraTomy toys there.
We (Australia) are just getting some of the bigger, fancier exclusives that Hasbro Hong Kong release in their market... provided our retailers want them.

Yes it was announced a while ago here, but this news posting here is for Bluestreak, with an small update on the actual release window of Star Saber tacked onto it.

I agree, plus, that image is Silverstreak; they should have used the regular TT release photos.

I have a feeling MP star saber's price will go way up, if we are not gonna get a US release. Come one Hasbro, what is the point of Hasbro Toy shop, but then again most of the US collectors, must have bought it from a third party now.

I know this is for Austrailia but the Bluestreak is the same one we'll be getting in the US anyway. So what I'm curious about is this: will Bluestreak's windowss be more opaque than Takara's? I own both Hasbro and Takara Prowl and Hasbro's windows seem a bit more opaque. It's similar to what people have noted on Hasbro's 2014 MP Grimlock.
The reason I'm so curious about it is because I feel like this isn't simply a Hasbro thing. Looking at Takara Silverstreak I never originally noticed anything and it seemed to match Hasbro Prowl. But owning normal Streak and Prowl now, I do see Silverstreak having that same opacity as well. Are Hasbro and Takara using a different clear plastic now?
