Just gonna be honest and say that IMHO, I've never cared for Stan Bush's music overall. I mean like Kenny Logins he's made a couple decent songs, but... he was always just an 80's Soundtrack guy. But it's just so sad how there's so many awesome tunes from the Transformers 80's movie soundtrack and yet Stan seems to be the only one ever getting any major spotlight aside from occasionally Vince DiCola. The only song I ever cared for from Stan Bush was "Fight To Survive" from Blood Sport.

In some ways I feel so bad for Stan as he's tried so badly using the fandom to keep both him and his music relevant.

Vince DiCola to me had vastly more talent, also in my humble opinion the tracks by Lion and N.R.G. sounded way way batter than Stand Bush's "Dare" and "Touch".

    Different strokes and all that.

Yeah, those songs/videos are a bit cheesy, but Stan Bush seems like a real Transformers fan, which is really cool. The song of his I really dig is the ending song for the War for Cybertron game.

And of course the remix of The Touch at the end of Fall of Cybertron.

    Love both of these.

This interview seems super awkward. Am I the only one who noticed how nervous the interviewer was all the while it felt as Stan just wasn't into it. just reading body language and tones from both, it felt like neither wanted to be there. Maybe I'm misinterpreting. or maybe Stan just didn't care for the interviewer.

I may have some choice words for the Netflix shows themselves, but I'm not gonna lie-- this is dope. Absolutely my kind of cheese.

I dug the purposeful cheesiness, though it's quite a juxtaposition when considering how seriously the Netflix show takes itself. Definitely an odd pairing.

I listened to that album when it released on spotty fi last year (!). It's kinda funny because the lyrics are an amalgamation of a bunch of his songs from the past. It's kinda catchy...

Thunder in your heart, ground zero, heat of the battle, the touch, and a couple others are directly quoted in the song.

If WFC wasn't so drab it would be cool if they could have Kick Axe do a new song because their stuff was great in the 86 movie too (and they have a heavier sound)

Also, the music video with the semi truck is hillarious. I'm not sure it it was supposed to be, but it was. Next time you drive a semi truck make sure siege prime is not in the review mirror following you.

You leave Loggins out of this. I've always said it, I really hope that Stan Bush doesn't have any vices in his life, because said vices would have been 100% funded by us Transformers fans for the past 35 years.

So these songs came out 3 to 4 months ago on YT. One has about 3.6k views and the other has 2.2k views. Better add some clips of a shitty Netflix show to cling to some sort of relevancy.

They were also out on spotifi and probably have more listens there.

    :lol

during the 80's i think most rock stars had vices. That's to be expected.

As for Loggins. Well...I mean, there's not much to say. even when I was a little kid I loved "I'm alright" and "Danger Zone"

He made a couple cool songs for a couple cool movies. :)

Man, this guy defines good sport. Whether or not he's a fan of TFs, the songs are still fun and I'm glad his meme status among the fandom keeps making stuff like this show up every now and then.

These are bad. And coupling them with clips from a bad show and awkward footage of Stan doesn't make them better.

They are alright. Not as good as The Touch or Dare.

I figured out why I don't care for them. They're too slow and/or soft. They lack a certain energy the original soundtrack had, whether it was Bush's songs or others.

I'm not a massive fan of "The Touch" (though I like it), but I love "Dare" a ton.
