Just got done listening to the Haslab fanstream and they mentioned that they check the boards often and are contemplating what to do with the 40th anniversary Haslab.

Super excited for it. What does everyone want to see?

Personally, if they can do a 2nd run of Unicron in different colors, that would be amazing. To coincide with that, maybe a Cybertron that transforms to Primus?

I think we can rule out any super popular figure that fits in mainline (or regular character that has been in mainline and also will likely be a MP).

Selfishly I'm hoping none of the city-bots. They're huge and tough to display, and personally don't find them that interesting (kid-me has G1 versions of Fort Max, Scorponok, and Trypticon though).

So what's left? Combiners that aren't Devastator? Is there something from post-G1 that would be popular enough and recognizable enough to be a 40th anniversary Haslab?

Primus that turns into Cybertron would be most logical to me.

What I'd want: Primus with G1 inspired Planet mode and Cybertron inspired robot mode.

What I think it'll be: Metroplex bigger than all current Titans but smaller than Unicron.

I’m pretty sure that’s going to be next year’s commander.

Possibly but wasn't Deathsaurus also originally meant to be a commander in Legacy before getting bumped up? I can easily see a similar thing happening here in order to do his 'super mode' justice.

Why do a 40th anniversary when one can have a 20th anniversary of the 20th anniversary?

They said no Optimus for Haslab. He's popular enough for mainline.

They said "most likely not Victory" for the next one so.... you're saying there's a chance?! If so, LIOKAISER!!! Or Road Caesar, I suppose. Or Landcross.

Er, Armada Prime is 99.99999% certainty for the 2023 Commander. Only a nuclear war stops his release.

Is what I would say, but now I say a Titan Metroplex with today's articulation, not skinny as a twig, and comes with his weapons and a Deluxe Scamper. No idea what the tiers could be, but I'm sure Hasbro will put in blast effects once more. o_O

I'd take a Metrotitan (that they can later repaint as Metroplex as a general release Titan class retail figure), G2 Defensor/Guard City, Battle Gaia, Gigastorm, G2/Diaclone Devastator, RID Brave Maximus, Guardian Robots (Omega Sentinel), Omega Spreem and pre-TF Omega Mechabot-1!

Maybe a Space Bridge Cybertron Tower & earth entrance ring with shuttle car playset?

If you want to see a Haslab fail, make a Transformers playset instead of a transforming figure.
