@Maz @CZ Hazard I'm amazed that nobody ever points out that he already has moulded speakers. You can see them moulded there. Thats why they have 'L' and 'R' moulded on each side. Left and right speakers. Surely someone has noticed this before?
Why are they L and R on the wrong side from our POV? They appear to be for Soundwave's benefit. Maybe he had a driving test.
If soundwave were a real tape player, you'd probably have been meant to listen with the front and/or bottom side facing away from you. That would be my guess anyway. I had no idea about the sticker placement error, I'm kind of mad that I put mine on his legs, but I don't think I'm mad enough to try to peel them off and re-stick them on his batteries. Judging by everyone's reactions here it seems that both methods are considered valid, but I am curious enough that if I see another soundwave on the shelf at Walmart that I'll pick him up and put his stickers on the right way.
Yeah I mean, I would absolutely accept both as valid seeing as how Hasbro have used that leg/speaker configuration as gospel for 35 years, and it's probably how almost everyone's vintage Hasbro Soundwave will have been All the best Maz
