As has been said, this is normal timing. Oh, and the Trailer was announced as coming out this upcoming Tuesday.

 

Heck, I've seen trailers for movies that, when they came out, already said "In Theaters Now". I've even heard about movies after they came and went and I never even saw one trailer for it or heard anything about it.

This article completely lost me when Goldner started talking about Bumblebee being the heart of the franchise. That's exactly one of the prime issues that got us in this current predicament in the first place.

So yeah...the 2nd question in and I can see that this franchise still lacks direction when it comes to movies.

 

Except he is. Kids love him. Parents love him. He's the golden boy for the franchise.

 

People on this board tend to forget they are but a fraction of fraction of a fraction of a minority of the fan base.

And let's not kid ourselves. Bumblebee in general and also specifically the movie iteration isn't as beloved as you're making him out to be.

Personally, I think Bumblebee is fine, and is liked pretty well, but not to the extent that Hasbro makes it out to be, and he definitely shouldn't be the face of the franchise, as it seems he is taking away some spotlight from other characters. After a while, people get sick of seeing the same one dude over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Oh God! Drown us in bullshit!!! Where was Bumblebee before the 1st movie in 2007? Nowhere that's where! Nobody gave a shit about Bumblebee before you started pushing him on everybody. Jazz would've probably been more popular if he hadn't been killed off (which was stupid as hell because they could have easily repaired him. It's not like his spark was damaged.). No, you just decided Bumblebee would be the cutesy character you'd shove down our throats on every piece of merchandise from posters to beach towels. And now the little yellow bastard gets his own movie. The very first Transformers movie I won't be going to see.
