Very happy they have the 30th anniversary of the 1986 movie in mind. VERY hopeful for a good G1 Galvatron update finally coming around. That would be my #1 want. Next up I'd love to get new Rodimus Prime, with an emphasis on the Prime bit. And then after that, I'd love a Sharkticon toy.

 

I would be fine with Supreme Class on them too I say Titan on the base bots though cuz Leader seems to small for me and Titan would let them have the play value like the old ones would. If they bring Supreme back I say for Overlord and God Ginrai that would work although Scorponok, Trypticon Titan would be better.

I really hope Combiner Wars gets to beast forms.. That's all of the later year Decepticons...

They could even remold things into Beast Wars characters.

What else could there be for Titan Class?

 

I just want CW Abominus and Piranacon and I'll be set..I want all the original Scramble City guys in Combiner Wars form just so the gimmick can remain consistent.

 

If I were getting Dev, it would be Hasbro's I have a feeling that the lack of elbows is going to be so much more stable.

Yes there are. Although they're all IDW-made characters aside from Metroplex (and a possible Fort Max, Scorponok, and Trypticon), so I'd say them getting Titan class toys are quite unlikely. This isn't like Windblade: she was only a Deluxe.

 

I hope they have new plans for Beast Wars 20th Anniversary. Maybe even a Fan Built Beast.

 

surprised we got no mention of G2 combiner wars giftsets.... Maybe SDCC will be the place but they'd end up being a store exclusive somewhere I'm sure.

 

I would be very surprised is BW wasn't on the menu, especially as many of the original toys (naturally) are dated now and there is a MP Primal on the way.

If they tie BW and CW together partially I'd love for that to be an excuse to get Magmatron, Piranhacon and more.

Well, we'll know for sure when in-hand reviews start hitting. But I seriously doubt that TakaraStator will be unstable. He'll be just fine.

 

If CW is any indication, a fan beast would probably result in a repainted mold.

 

And if Windblade is any indication a single figure is just as likely to be a new mold.

Plus a repainted beast would at least mean that Hasbro would have an array of beast figures to choose from so thats not exactly a bad thing.

Also, um, Gen Rhinox, Waspinator and Rattrap were not even two years ago. And engineering quality has certainly not gone down the tubes. Have you seen CW Silverbolt and Hot Spot? Excellent figures that are at the center of excellent combiners? Production costs have risen, but the designers are still as competent as ever.

Both good points. The only reason CW is doing redecoes is because it takes more to design a combiner than it does a normal Transformer. Not that CW is lacking on unique moulds compared to previous years.

 

heres the thing, I don't want a titan predaking!

I tolerated devastator because he was the first and goes with omega supreme anyway, but predaking? it was always predaking vs sky lynx so if we get a voyager sky lynx to make sky reign why not have a predaking to match?

titan class should be saved for the huge bots metroplex, trypticon, omega supreme, fortress maximus etc
